We were warmly welcomed with apple tea,which we sipped as a student potter made a demonstration in front of us.
We were then led into a sort of showroom which featured handmade ceramics articles,one more amazing than the other.
The best ones were those that glowed in the dark.
The prices were also reasonable considering they are handmade.

The shop owner Vahdi stands out as a decent, honest and lovely man who is happy to show you his collection without any pressure to buy. His collection is varied and he goes out of his way to help you find the right Kilim for you! Entry to this Church is FREE, you do NOT need to have the museum ticket.
The Church is very small, but with stunning blue frescoes in it. There is a showroom of more simple "tourist" pieces, and a large gallery of high-quality "collector" ceramics with intricate local designs. The best pieces have a significant amount of ground quartz included to make them more durable. The owner and workers were really helpfull choosing the right bottles for our family diner.
We tasted a lot of the handmade products, what gave us so much more extra, then choosing from a label!
We bought more bottles then we plannend, to let also our dutch family experience the handmade wines of the land of Kapadokya!

The art facilitating is awesome and so beautiful, add to all this their products are so beautiful. It worth visiting and spend some valuable time. Besides, you should definitely try making pottery, it's a really fun and stress-relieving activity.
