During our summer holiday, we've discovered an amazing place for our first rafting experience. For us was just the beginning of a new adventure. Koprulu Kanyon Milli Parki is the best environment for this type o challenge.

I believe that this is actually a Roman, not Greek construction. Regardless as to who built it, it is spectacular, much of it is intact, and the view of distant pillars and ruins beyond the part which has fallen down is impressive in itself.

This was our spot for food most evenings 🤭 because of our awful hotel restaurant.
We enjoyed shopping too it wasn’t crowded and since we visited during covid they checked temperatures before entry and assuring masks are worn correctly.
Even tou you could buy most of the stuff from bazaars and get cheaper prices it was still a nice experience in Turkey.

The waterfall itself was pretty, didn't take much to take in and be ready to go again though. The water is powerful and a beautiful colour.
It is a massive tourist trap though with a touristy bazaar and restaurants/drink places all over priced compared to other places. You have to pay to get in, pay to use the toilet all for all of 10 minutes looking at a waterfall.

First of all, for everyone who is a first-timer to Side, the fact that TripAdvisor has separate articles for the Ancient Site of Side and the points of interest that are actually a part of it (e.g. Temple of Apollo) can be very, very confusing.
That said, Side is one of the best places I've ever been to where the ancient and the modern city live in parallel and you can literally touch history. It is everywhere - not only in the giant fountain (Nymphaeum) but inside and under houses, beneath the public squares, in the very bench you sit on... For the 10 years between our previous visit and this one, the local municipality has done a wonderful job in conservation and giving a new life to the old city. And they are still working on it! Will definitely go again to see how they finish it.

    Good points
Bought excellent lamps from a family run business which was the 2nd lamp store when I entered the market. They have wrapped it for me as well very nicely The sandals caps are also great for the price
    Bad points
Got royally fooled by a perfume seller.
We had no intentions of buying any perfume but ALI from Karachi.... be wary of this young man... in his 20s speaks good English, talked about GOVID and poor business
Sprays the brand u like ... then washes it with water, the smell never changed and proved that the perfume is authentic.we ended up buying some came back to the hotel room and it’s nothing but water, the smell doesn’t not last even 5 minutes .
I’ve had such a nice time so far, this kind of cheating has saddened me...especially because I did not need perfumes and I ended up buying as gifts
I hope the money comes of good use to him although the perfumes are no good for me.
Thought I should share this here as generally everybody was great except for this boy who took two people who wished him well for a jolly good ride
Do not buy any high end perfumes in Turkey as they are fake water

Great place to visit and experience; friendly and professional personnel. Value for money. Teenaged kids enjoyed it a great deal, as well.

It's an impressive building at the entrance of the city. You may get transport the the ancient city center but I recommend you to just walk.

This is one of off beaten path with easy reach from Antalya / Manavgat / Side by car. There are ruins here and there with most impressive Agora.

The city itself is very easy to navigate as there is "city map" close to "city gate" and its location is mentioned in the "map". We didn't go far and explore every corner of Lybre however we visited its hammam, several ruins, necropolis, some cisterns.

Recommended to go early in the morning with its amazing sun shined. We went in January when it was a bit cold but with sun shined and only 3 people around including us.

The park was pretty expensive to get in, but there were a lot of large realistic dinosaurs on offer which my son loved!

The animals are not in good health at all which is a shame. Ostriches had most of their feathers missing, goats had green snotty noses and lions looked disheveled.

This would be a 5 star if the animals were looked after and the price a little cheaper. Tours are also not available in English despite us booking for a tour and clearly ate English!

You definitely must visit this place. The tazi canyon looks very breathtakingly. If you drive a car be careful due to the serpentine. But when you come to the parking it's finished after that you can park your car or go to Tazi canyon in a car. DO NOT TAKE a quadricycle (if you really want really, it costs about 70 TRY). If you decide to walk - it takes about 15-20 minutes, if by a car — 10 minutes because of rough road (I suggest going there only b a car with good clearance). You will see exciting mountain views, canyon views. You will not see a lot of tourists there (if you compare with Kursunlu waterfalls :). I really was shocked by these views. I like these views. I think it will be a good idea to have lunch or dinner here.

Titreyen Gol (ECO Park Resort) is a lovely place to stay, it is located between Side and Manavgat with plenty of Hotels, an Aqua Park and a couple of shops. Plenty of buses service the route and all hotels are easy to get to.
