- Lisa14 contributionsShort walk through the canyon to a point where you needed to walk through water which we didn't do. - DrBoyfriendPristina, Kosovo159 contributionsI found that the neighborhood around the clock-tower to have the most character, meaning that is is home to the historical bazaar and more ottoman flavors of the city. Though I wasn't in the mood for what looked like some of the best liver kebabs I have seen, I tracked down a confectionery close by that was producing some of the best Lokums and tahini-based sweets.Written March 1, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bowmanator22Charlotte, NC5,314 contributionsA beautiful sprawling green space down by the river in the shadow of the imposing mosque, Merkez is extremely popular for families in the afternoon and evening, and is a great spot to exercise in the morning. - Ehsan YazdaniIstanbul, Türkiye29 contributionsAt the end od Kapikaya canion, there is a village called Hacikiri. You can start Belemedic valley trek right there. It is nearly 20 km trek in the middle of pine forests in foothills of Taurus mountain. The scenery is breathtaking. At the end lies the village of Belemedik. Be advised, Hacikiri has a small market, but there is none in Belemedik. There is a railroad there, connecting Adana to Konya, but most of way you are inside unending tunnels.Written March 15, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
