This museum offers wax figure scenes of traditional life in Djerba with including depictions of traditional marriage. We needed at least an hour as we read the descriptions along the way. ( English, French, German, Arabic)
We had been advised at our hotel that there would be plenty of taxis for the return trip but are very happy that our taxi suggested he wait for us for a small fee as we saw very few taxis.
    Definitely recommend this museum!

It’s worth visiting at certain times. We went late afternoon which just happened to be the feeding time for the crocs. Before that, they were just lying still which was pretty boring, but when they get the food out there is a lot of activity

Really nice little town just to wonder through. Love the architecture and the art. And of course the locals are amazingly friendly.

The ranch Adada is one of the better places to go while staying at Djerba! The horses are amazingly well treated,The rides are extremely fantastic I’ve got to go there a lot, and every single ride, I’ll always remember them!
Morgane, the owner of this ranch is also
Very nice! I extremely recommend passing by there if you got to go at Djerba!
You can ride a horse or a camel, and then
    Enjoy your ride!

We visited the farm with my kids when it was not crowded. We met by chance with one of the scientists who was observing the crocodiles and ended up enjoying the friendliness and the great explanations of this person...

Great place to visit when in Djerba. Love the synagogue architecture and colors. Some person of the staff are not friendly and force you to give a donation.

For only 6 Dinars each we enjoyed our half hour walk around this modern interesting museum showing lifestyles in Djerba. There is a space for agriculture, another about the fishermen.
My favourite exhibit is the costumes and jewellery as well as the marriage exhibit.
There is also the mausoleum to see before leaving. Well worth a visit as it is nearby the weekly souk.

Go there! It's human-sized but beautifully spaced. The prices are extraordinary and are brought from the entire Islamic world.
The texts are very good and light.
You will leave happy and more knowledgeable if the width and breadth of islamic art, from ornaments to carpets and from calligraphy to designs

Super cool! Beautiful views & great track. Everything perfect except of the price. It was a little too expensive. And also ride should be longer - ours lasted for one hour and it was with sitting in the Laguna

This old fort, apparently from the 1500's, sits right on the Mediterranean. An uncanny place especially if you let your mind wander to "back in the day". There is a small admission fee to see inside the fort or just stay outside with no fee. Parking is not a problem

We walk past this lighthouse on the way to Midoun. If you come and visit it, make sure you see the camels and the old well nearby.
There is a military camp next to the site too, with barbed wire and run down accommodation for the soldiers.
The bus stop opposite is a work of art so l took photos.

The mosque is a very nice representation of the typical Djerba mosque and its exceptional integration in life and environment. Really worth a try
