Seen many reviews saying it was too loud and kids didn’t like it. This is pretty clearly not a good place for kids. It’s busy and loud and there’s adult shows and gentlemen’s clubs on display. - ankit85 contributionsNice place to be! Be it early morning or the day time, you get to have a good time at this beach. Can get crowded, but still not as much as a few others and can maintain peace. Activities possible here too and you can not miss the long walk along the beach and have that 'calm' feel. - Wanderer465827655221 contributionWe visited Freedom beach November2024, taxi there 300bht from Patong, when you arrive there is another 300bht per person to transport you down the winding trail/ path / road. I'll be honest the 300bht for the ride is worth every penny, especially for the journey back up. If you fancy the climb mske sure you have decent foot wear.
The beach it's self is lovely white sands with turquoise warm water as you would expect.
There are no sunbeds to rend or umbrellas so be prepared to burn.
There are a few shady areas if you need to get out of the sun.
There are stalls selling beers and barbecue chicken and fish priced reasonably cheap.
Overall a great day out, I would definitely recommend, just not the climb up and down.

However not for the faint hearted, they picked us up from our hotel, we were in the bus for about an hour picking other people up, but we also got stuck in traffic.
Once we got there we got given out ticket and a free T- shirt- we got some snacks, popcorn, drinks and took our seats- we had front row seats so got in on all the action.
It started around 9 pm and finished around 11, there was a bus to take us home, however we decided to head out into town.

The colors and vibes of the temple are something else – really makes you feel chilled out. Definitely a must-see if you’re looking to escape the chaos for a bit and soak in some culture. We used to book the session for 8pm, but since our previous activity ends early, we want to start the laser tag and the team helped us did that. The equipment is good, really good scene. - BeachBall87Glasgow, UK47 contributionsWe visited as a family and were delighted when my 2 young children ( 5 and 6 years old) were able to ride in the 2 seater kart with an adult each.
It is quite expensive for the 10 minute ride, but as we were on holiday, we decided to give it a go. It’s not often that such young children are allowed on the race track. Our boys thoroughly enjoyed themselves and are asking to go back. On the 2 seater kart, there are 2 steering wheels, so the 2nd person could steer and the adult can control the speed if you wanted to.
