- Sebastian A22 contributionsWe used Brilliant for our Honeymoon to Tanzania in June 2024. Our experience was all around amazing. Julieth was our contact who helped us get set up and answered all our questions promptly leading up to our arrival. We came from the USA (North Carolina) and spent 10 days total in Tanzania. We had four days of safari followed by four days in Zanzibar on the beach. They handled all of our lodging and transportation so everything was seamless.
Upon arrival in Arusha, we had a quick debrief at their HQ and then were dropped off at the Melia hotel to rest up the first day. The next morning, our driver, Hope, picked us up and we were off to Tarangire National Park for our first safari. Hope was amazing and made sure we saw EVERYTHING during our four days of safari. We did four safaris total - one in Tarangire, two in Serengeti, and one in the Ngorongoro Crater. We saw the Big 5, including two leopards and four black rhinos. Countless other encounters - many lions, cheetahs, elephants and many of these sightings were very close up and exciting. Hope is an expert and we felt we were in great hands throughout our time on safari. We stayed at the Acacia Farm Lodge and the Dancing Duma Luxury Camp, both of which were amazing stays. Great staff and food.
They handed us off to a contact in Zanzibar who helped us schedule our activities while we were on the island. We stayed in the Z Hotel which was very nice, right on the beach. Within the resort we had everything we needed. If you do venture away from the resort or down the beach, you will be hounded by locals looking to sell merchandise and activities, but you can politely decline, and everyone was still very nice. All in all, it was a 10/10 experience. We highly recommend Brilliant to anyone who may be traveling to Tanzania and wants to have your timeline completely handled, and wants to get the most out of their safari experience. Global Experience was a reputable company to work with. We were pleased with the professionalism and integrity. Ismail and staff made the extra effort to make this trip memorable.
Suma, our driver on our nine day safari was the best! Our first day he gave us safari hats, bracelets and Maasai blankets. We felt so welcome and at ease. He taught us to watch animal behaviour. So many times we were rewarded for our patience. We saw a baby elephant a few hours old, we watched a baby leopard climb a tree, we sat and watched the elephant walk right up to our land cruiser, and so many more special moments. Coffee and lunch in the middle of the Serengeti were almost surreal. Suma's knowledge of the animals and their environment enriched our experience.
I celebrated my birthday while on Safari. The staff at Global Experience had arranged that at our lodge that evening I was presented with a cake. The staff sang and danced for me. Then I was brought up to dance with them too. I was wrapped in a large, beautiful piece of fabric - a gift for me. I was so touched.
We owe much thanks to Sandy, who worked closely with us in planning this adventure. Your recommendations were spot on. The tour of the Maasai village, the Oldupai Gorge Interpretive Centre, and the lodges we stayed at were excellent. We had requested places where we would be able to make connections with people, and we were able to do so.

They helped us a lot to map out what our movements should be given the different things we wanted to see/do. They kept time, very comfortable car, patiently waited for us at the different places (had an afternoon at the beach) till we messaged them that we are good to go. - Elina SItaly1 contributionWe booked a 6 days safari trip going to tarangire national park, serengeti and ngorogoro crater. Tanzania good friends safaris picked us up at arusha bus station after a long drive and brought us to the hotel. The next morning we met our tourguide Douglas, he really made our trip more special. We felt safe in his car, could ask him anything about nature and every day he served us a freshly cooked lunch with a glass of wine with an amazing view! All of the lodges we stayed during our trip were amazing as well, clean rooms, nice beds and good food. We were lucky to spot the big 5 on our last day which made our trip complete! We cannot express enough how amazing this experience was! and how highly we recommend their services to anyone seeking an unforgettable African adventure.
From the moment they were contacted their professionalism, attention to detail, and dedication to creating a unique and culturally immersive experience were evident. The team took the time to understand our preferences and interests, tailoring the itinerary to ensure it perfectly aligned with our desires.
Throughout the trip, we were consistently impressed by the knowledge and expertise of our guides. They not only provided insightful information about the incredible wildlife we encountered but also shared captivating stories about the rich history and diverse cultures of the regions we visited.
The accommodations selected by Melanated were outstanding. Each lodge and camp captured the essence of Africa's beauty, while also providing luxurious comfort. From waking up to breathtaking views of wildlife roaming freely in our tented camp ( Glamping at the Highest Luxury Level) to enjoying delicious traditional cuisine, every moment felt like a dream.!

Game Drives, which offered us the opportunity to spot the Big Five (elephant, lion, leopard, rhino, and Cape buffalo) well almost we didn’t spot any rhino (lol)and other fascinating wildlife.
Guided Nature Walk of Victoria Falls, a wonderful chance to explore the area on foot, just bring plenty of water!
Visiting the Maasai people at their village, they have such lovely spirits!
A boat safari on the Zambezi River,
a Sundowner Experience, watching the African sunset from the river is a magical experience and a Sun Rise Hot Air Balloon Safari, be prepared to get up early for this one

We did a one day tour to Materuni waterfall. The hike was interesting , walking the paths through local community. After the hike there was an excellent coffee demonstration, with singing by local lads. Was awesome!! Even went to a local bar to try Banana beer!! We went to Kilimanjaro. They had a lot of patience with us. We received our coffee in the tent 😅😅.
I do not receive it at home like that 😅😅
And hit water to wash even at 4600 meters.
But I will let you discover all this.
