Working with African Guides showed us how important it is to have a trip planned by true local experts. Our guide was excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. We got to explore some lesser known (and less crowded) parks, stayed in beautiful accommodation and didn’t have to worry about anything. If you have a chance add Zanzibar to your itinerary as a magical place to relax after the safari.
Highly recommend!Written September 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jiayu h5 contributionsElijah was the best part of our trip to Tanzania, taking us to see all the animals and scenery we wanted to see. He always had our best interests in mind and wanted us to see the best part of Africa, especially the impressive view from the top of Mount Kilimanjaro. The most memorable moment was when it suddenly rained on the mountain, and I was only wearing a short-sleeved shirt. But he didn't hesitate to give me his jacket, allowing me to complete the hike. Over the ten-day trip, we became very good friends and brothers. I hope you can feel confident in choosing E&E after reading this review, and that you will have a great trip!Written October 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Chtaura J1 contributionI had an amazing time. In September 2016, I actually paid to summit Mount Kilimanjaro from the Tanzania side in 7 days, but due to my wonderful crew actually finished and submitted the mountain in 6 days. Great experience!Written April 25, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- AnonimoPamplona, Spain35 contributionsWe met Ayoub and Jobson Safaris by chance, but thanks to them we have been able to know and enjoy the authentic Tanzania (its people, its traditions, its natural landscapes, …)
At Babati, we could explore and know the area in depth, with its picturesque villages and markets, canoeing on the lake and knowing its fauna, bathing in the waterfalls and getting to know the different tribes in the area, talking and interacting with them, ... All this from the hand of Ayoub and Ally (Babati's guide and one of the best men we have ever met).
In Arusha, Ayoub showed us some of the work he is doing in the community, through his NGO, KUKUA PAMOJA (which means growing together).
We were in a school (where they carry out educational work on hygiene and health, the environment, etc.), in the place where women from different tribes learn a trade so that they are economically independent, in the house that is reforming to be able to reach more women, etc.
And also, we enjoyed some spectacular waterfalls and a walk along the slopes of Mount Meru, we visited a coffee plantation and medicinal trees, we learned to make coffee in the traditional way of the area and to use the different medicinal plants, we walked through the different neighborhoods of Arusha listening to the history of the city and Tanzania, we tasted local food and drinks, …
In Marangu and Lushoto, thanks to the guides recommended by Ayoub, we were able to enjoy the culture/history and the nature of the area, with peace of mind.
Jobson Safaris promotes sustainable tourism while supporting local communities, which is very important to us. Ayoub did everything he could to accommodate our wishes and we enjoyed some wonderful days together.
If we return to Tanzania, we will contact him without any doubt. He has been more than a guide, we consider him a friend!
