- PrinLondon, UK10 contributionsThe best experience we could ever had. The safari was great and all the services provided (hotel, camping, food, tour guide) were spectacular.
The experience started if the pick up at the airport and we stayed one night in Arusha (Jevas Hotel Encore) where we were well received and the room and food was good. We started the safari tour the day after and we saw so many animals during these 4 days. Edgar, our tour guide was great and very friendly as well. He patiently answered all our questions and was carefully looking to find the best views and animals. We were camping and James was our chef. I have to say that food was delicious.
We had an amazing experience during the four days. I highly recommend Suricata Safaris. The are very committed to their clients and during the whole time they checked on us.
Daniel and Chuke were also very friendly and they did the check in and check out of the tour to ensure we had a great experience (and we for sure did)

- Nile R3 contributionsGreat way to spend a day in Tanzania. Saw 4 of the Big 5 plus countless other animals and birds. Driver was extremely proficient at positioning the vehicle so we could get up close to animals without disturbing them. - Jana H1 contributionThe trip has really beat our expectations. We saw all of the big fives and got a real safari experience. I would definitely recommend the camping version with Maru Slopes. You get really close to the nature (we had an elephant, hippopotamus and a pack of lions close to the camp). Thanks to the camp staff and our driver Andrew, we were never afraid and felt safe even in the middle of nowhere where you can meet any animal. Thanks to him we had an unforgettable holiday, seeing lions eating a pray, pack of elephants wondering in the bushes, we saw even a leopard with a baby and a rhinoceros. Our driver was both very knowledgeable and experienced making sure that we saw all the animals, finding secret spots to observe them. He has been working as a driver for 25 years and you can tell he knows how to find them.
During the trip we had an excellent chef Rashid. He helped us explore new dishes and try things we never tasted before. He has always made us several dishes at once and they all tasted really good. If you are looking for a mixture of local food with European touch then Rashid is your guy.
We would like to thank you both one more time for an unforgettable experience that we will carry with us for the rest of our lives. Loved the camping option and the food was delicious! Our guide was Mandela and he was great. Chefs James and Samson cooked the best food! - John F5 contributionsThe day trip to Tangerine National Park was totally awesome. We saw a lot of wildlife including elephant, zebra, lions, ostrich, zebra, wildebeest and cheetah. Our guide, Rahab, was fantastic and taught us about the various plants and animals that we saw. - Arod0915Kendall, FL21 contributionsMy wife and I did this tour and our guide was Solomon Godfrey. This was not an easy hike but we had an amazing time. Our guide was outstanding allowing us (me) to take our time (polé-polé) and even carried my backpack for the last portion. Once we reached the Mandara Huts it was all worth the effort. The trail is well maintained and beautiful. Plenty of birds and we also saw Blue and Colobus Monkeys. - MaiIreland14 contributionsI can't recommend Suricata Travel enough for our unforgettable safari experience in Tanzania! We opted for the luxury package, and it was worth every penny. The lodges were absolutely stunning, offering comfort, breathtaking views, and impeccable service. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, ensuring we saw an incredible variety of wildlife, from lions and elephants to zebras and cheetahs. Both Serengeti and Ngorongoro National Parks were teeming with animals, making the experience truly magical. The food provided throughout the trip was delicious, fresh, and far beyond our expectations. Our flight after the journey was delayed and they put us up in a wonderful hotel for the evening too. I looked through every possible provider beforehand and even after the safari I can say that you won't find anything better in terms of value for money. One night before and after the safari at the Hotel Tourist Inn and the transfer from the airport are included. They are flexible when it comes to payment. You get breakfast and 2 hot meals a day, which were always very tasty and plentiful. Our guide was Samuel. He is super experienced, drives routes that the masses don't drive and has an eagle eye. He also responds to your wishes, is super friendly and courteous and just extremely funny. - Micha K1 contributionI had an amazing experience and really enjoyed walking around the town with Israel for an afternoon. He knows a lot and could answer all my questions. He‘s also a really friendly guy that you can simply chat with. Additionally, he takes good care of you and makes sure you get a break or something to drink if you need it. I was able to see the BIG FIVE and a live lion hunting experience. Silas provided a wealth of information along the way including the history of the area, details on the different animals and made sure we were all taken care of.

Our guide and driver, Owen, was fantastic! He explained everything so well and made the experience even more enjoyable with his warm and helpful nature. One of the highlights was making our own coffee the traditional way, which was both fun and educational. Owen's enthusiasm and attention to detail really made this trip special. The next moment I'm on a giant swing over the most beautiful landscape. I mean this place is beyond stunning. We learned so much about this unique culture on the slopes of Mount Meru.
