- Ronaldo-2-225 contributionsGood place for bargaining on souvenirs. Has everything. Many stalls but they all share similar stuff. Cheaper than what you get elsewhere.Written August 31, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Margaret L8 contributionsWonderful, huge art gallery that was more like a museum than a gallery. The range of art was amazing and the prices were suprisingly reasonable. We had two hours to spend there and we could have spent a full day. Really wonderfulWritten February 16, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Carol1953_12Omaha, NE40 contributionsI was part of a group of 4 college friends (from 50 years ago!) who were traveling through Tanzania on Safari, and we had a day in Arusha before we left. One of our group booked this workshop and we all loved it! Very fun and educational, and the women were amazing. We learned some beading, and they helped us make necklaces and bracelets to take with us, and then we shopped in their retail store. First-rate quality in the workmanship, and it felt good to help the Maasai women. This is a highly recommended outing/workshop when you are in Arusha.Written September 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Valerie B11 contributionsThis is one of two workshops for disabled artisans in Arusha. They have an enormous weaving facility where you can watch all aspects of the process. They also have several glass blowing furnaces where the make everything from beads and xmas ornaments to drinking glasses, bowls, vases and pitchers. In addition they have a beading area where artists make everything from key chain and jewelry to beaded chandeliers and a textile area for fabric items and a tin Smith for wind chimes and jewelry. On top of this They have a fabulous restaurant. I spent all morning and then had lunch. You can also custom order goods from any area that you want in the colours you want but the gift shop is fabulous on its own. Don't miss this place! The artists are able to support their families with the wages they earn and they are all trained on site.Written May 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
