    Taiwan's first national park
    Kenting National Park in southern Taiwan was proclaimed in 1972. It was Taiwan's first national park. Kenting National Park bares witness to the diversity and richness of the island's natural and cultural heritage. And of course, the weather in Kenting National Park is almost always warm and clear.

    Nice view
    Didn't see cat's nose, but did see nice rock formation. The trial is will paved and wheelchair accessible. Very good view to the Taiwan Strait and end of Taiwan island. Avoid going there in the winter time. I was cold and windy when we visited.

    Nice walking trials
    First, the name of this location is somewhat misleading. There is nothing recreational in this area, it is all walking and workout. If you like the nature, you will definitely enjoy this park. But be warned, there is almost no public transportation. This is ashame for such a nice nature place. We took taxi to the park and could not find any transportations to go back to the hotel. Luckily a nice couple gave us a car lift when we walked about 1/4 of the 4.5 miles down. Without the lift we might not make it back to our hotel. Thanks to the couple forever for being so nice to others.
