- Sadun H1 contributionEverything was really amazing the way they treat and care for the turtles is amazing, everyone was very kind, the turtles are so playful and friendly. We also got to release a bunch of babies into the sea which was an unbelievable experience! This is a must if you visit Galle or Sri Lanka in general!Written July 3, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

Lots of towns have clock towers, sometimes prominent, often overlooked. It's hard to miss this one, at the entrance wall to the old town overlooking the town in one direction and the cricket ground the other. It just stands there as part of the proud heritage of this wonderful small area. . Lots of towns have clock towers, sometimes prominent, often overlooked. - CLIFF PBrighton, UK45 contributionsJust a very short tuk tuk ride from Galle, Yatagala is well worth a visit. Beautiful temple, plus a number of rock shrines. Great views and a very peaceful pool out front, full of fish and wildlife. Small entrance charge and when we visited ( admittedly a quiet time for visitor numbers) there were just two other visitors.Written February 2, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
