What travelers are saying
- fire-tower1,930 contributionsThis is our second visit after a few years and this time round we came for dinner. There are many stalls on the ground floor to buy what you want to eat, and these included snow crabs, king crabs, prawns, lobsters, flat fish, eels, oysters, clams, etc. the fishmongers will clean the seafood for you depending on how you want these cooked. They will also recommend and bring you to a stall on the upper level where you pay a charge for consuming the food as well as the cooking costs. If you buy the seafood from the stalls on the upper level, the selection you want might not be available but the price quoted is all inclusive. Rice, noodles, drinks and alcohol, etc, are charged separately.
Generally, the food will be fresh but do note that prices are not cheap, and there might be issues with communication so you might want to ask about the prices and costs.Written January 14, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - littleLQMelbourne, Australia78 contributionsVisited with a guest pass from Nongshim hotel. It was my first Korean spa experience and enjoyed trying all the pools and saunas.
Loved it. It felt like a large, nude swimming pool with a great family atmosphere and I'd visit regularly if I lived locally.
Steps:
1. Check-in at the desk, get a key and take of your shoes to be stored in a shoe locker.
2. Then move into the changing area and find your clothes locker with the same number as your shoe locker. Strip down to your birthday suit.
3. Grab a small round plastic basin for any shower products you want to carry into the wet area. For me, this included my waterproof e-reader, but not a phone (photos are a no-no in the wet areas as everyone is nude). Leave your beauty products in your locker for when you get back.
4. Find a scrubbing cloth to add to your basin.
5. Head up to the wet areas and give yourself a very good clean: there are standing and sitting showers so find one and scrub away.
6. Try out all the pools and soak your cares away!
7. When you're ready, wash off in the showers. This is when you finish off your post bath/ shower rituals on your hair and skin like deep conditioner and moisturizer.
8. Head down into the dry area and pull a clean towel from the stack hear the entrance. Dry yourself off beside all the other women who are doing so.
9. Complete the rest of your beauty rituals, get dressed and enjoy your super soft skin!
Tips:
- Take your favourite toiletries if you want a proper spa/ beauty experience.
- If you have long hair, bring something to hold your hair up, local etiquette is for hair to be kept out of the water.
- I found the beer bath fascinating and fizzy. It's worth trying it as there won't be any other time you can say you bathed in beer.Written August 29, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The displays are well maintained but not everything has information in English, which is a pity. Lockers were provided on the ground level near the entrance, which was good for us when we visited in December 2023 as we stored our backpacks and winter clothing in there.
Busan Museum is a short stroll from the UN Memorial Cemetery in Busan, and a short walk from the subway station. Entry to the museum is free. Worth a visit when you have time.Written January 15, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Deanosaur89Edmonton, Canada2,162 contributionsWe spent a few hours here looking around and having a few snacks. The mall is packed full of activities, restaurants and shops. A highlight for us was Spa Land and we really enjoyed the food market on the B1 level which had lots of options. The stores in the main building are more on the high end but the cylinder shaped building had more affordable brands.
The closest metro is Centrum City and you can access this mall via the underground pedways. There is a Lotte Department store nearby as well as a few other shopping centres.Written December 20, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - NA- AustraliaDandenong, Australia695 contributionsIt is clean, it is regular and it is very cheap by world standards. It was easy to navigate as each line has a different colour and each station has a number, with English being the second language in signage and messages. It’s just a pest not being able to get a day or tourist pass at each stationWritten October 23, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BerlinBowieSingapore, Singapore111 contributionsTypical local market. Visited a couple in Busan and each has a slightly different character though quite a few similarities as well.
When cooked food is sold there will be some stalls selling various types of Korean salads as well as a few fish cake stalls.

We stopped in to pick up a few things and use the bathroom. One item that we are beginning to appreciate in Korea is the access to filtered drinking water near the bathrooms in malls so you can refill your water bottle. The mall is right by Nampo metro station and a 10 minute walk to the Jagalchi Market area. When we went they were doing a Pixar Fuzzy Friend exhibit.Written December 21, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - fire-tower1,930 contributionsWe arrived in Busan at Gimhae’s international terminal and departed at Gimhae’s domestic terminal. While the airport is not as large as Seoul’s Incheon International Airport, it still serves its purpose and we have no complains.
Checking in at the departure for a KAL flight was via the kiosk and is efficient. There is also a food court at the upper level and the food quality was decent and service was fast.Written January 15, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The underground shopping also allows you to avoid the street above during the cold winter period. It also leads directly to the subway station.Written January 14, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- macaiwarKuala Lumpur, Malaysia244 contributionsZero entrance fee and the building architecture alone was awesome.
There were a great variety of exhibits on Korean maritime experiences over many centuries. An aquarium exhibit was inside too.
There were very few foreigners who were aware of this attraction.
Outside, a deep sea submarine was the exhibit.Written December 14, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. At 23,000 won per person it felt like a good deal considering that we could spend up to four hours inside Spa Land. We felt it was clean and a well planned out spa with lots of hot baths in gender specific areas and plenty of relaxing activities in a common area.
Spa Land can be found on the first level of the Shinsaegae shopping centre near the luxury brand section. You pay at the counter and they provide you an instruction card for where to go next, a payment pass and a free drink coupon. After the payment counter you can go up a ramp and take off your shoes to store in a storage locker. After this you can hand over your payment pass to get your spa clothes. The key from the storage locker will be used for the remaining time at the spa including your storage locker for your clothes and any other items you bring with you. The key will also allow you to "pay" for additional services and food items inside Spa Land.
The men and women have separate change areas, hot baths and saunas. We found the facilities very clean and they offered some good shower products. There are multiple pools to relax in with hot, medium and cold options to enjoy. There are also rooms to go to to get body scrubs and the men's area had hair cuts. We both spent about an hour in the hot baths, put on our spa clothes and then met up in the common area.
The common area seemed to have everything - there were a couple of cafes, an instant ramen shop, a restaurant, massage chairs, foot spa, games room, a fitness centre, a cold room, hot rooms and relaxation rooms. You and your partner can hang out here in your spa clothes and enjoy the experience together or find a comfy spot for a nap. There are also extra spa services in this area like facials, manicures and massages. We paid 3000 won more to use a massage chair for 15 minutes and felt it was worth it. The drink coupon can be used at the cafe on the first floor and it is a cold rice drink which was nice to have as no outside food or drink is permitted.
After the common area we went back to our change rooms and both tried out some of the facial cream and hand cream. All products here have a nice lemon grass scent. If you used additional services or purchased food inside there is a settlement desk just outside the change rooms where you can go and clear the bill. Once there are no outstanding fees you can use your key to scan out and go collect your shoes.
We really enjoyed our day here. The lockers we were given were large and we appreciated all the little details that made for a truly relaxing experience in Busan. We would recommend checking it out as long as you don't mind being around naked people for some time in the change rooms or bathing areas. The closest metro is Centrum City.Written December 20, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
