It's a lovely location that is well displayed; the Koreans should be proud of the way they keep it. It's definitely worth visiting to honor the deceased.

This was also part of our tour package through our cruise line. It's a nice easy walk, some of it uphill, through a nice park with plenty of trees to provide shade on a warm day. There is the APEC house halfway round, which we also visited on the tour. Some great views of the city and beach. Allow around an hour or so for a nice walk.

Yongdusan Park is located a few steps - or an escalator ride - up a small hill in the middle of Busan.

From here, you can continue up to Busan Tower. And it's a decent place to spend about half an hour, taking a few photos of a beautiful dragon, a big bell, and a couple of other small things.

But you can't possibly spend much longer here. Suddenly, you're out again.

This is a lovely park with interesting small suspension bridges along the trail, and great views of downtown Busan, including the large suspension bridge across the bay.

We took the scenic cable car to the Amnan Park and truly enjoyed our outing. Most interesting are the hiking trails- easy and beautiful. There are many other nooks to visit . The cable station’s two level building offers a cafe, souvenir shop, Little Prince area, viewing area and art installations etc.
This is a nice day trip.

Great place to go for a stroll. Some fantastic views of the city and the beach. It's worth taking at least an hour to make the most of it.

This is a beautifully kept and large park.

There are a number of water features, tree and flower lined walkways, children’s playgrounds, an outdoor theatre, art installations and more.

Free to enter and well worth a visit.

Nice small zoo with great exhibits which brings you and your kids closer to the animals and their life.
We were luck and could see some animals from very close as the guards took us there.
We went early mornings there so we were the first and except us were not many visitors during a usual week day.

The care givers at the zoo and all other staff is super friendly and helpful.
The park is clean and nicely arranged.

My kids and I loved the playground...

It's a must visit spot for kids who want to have fun.

    Enjoy your time there!

Take the cable car from Geumgang Park for some breath taking views on Busan and its surroundings. The ride in itself is unforgettable, but when you reach the top it's only a short walk to the Geumjeongsanseong fortifications. The walk is nice and quite easy. Lovely!

There are loads of photos with details from the Korean War. You can climb the steps to the monument or you can get the little lift that goes up the side (really handy). The monument is impressive and large and reminded me of a spaceship looking from underneath upwards. Really a special monument. The views are also great from the top.

Unless you are used to walking long distances uphill, the best advice I can give anyone going there is to take the train. The park is HUGE!!!! And the 2nd advice i would give is to wear comfortable walking or sports shoes. There are soooooooo many steps.

The key highlight, if you are short of time, is the lighthouse, The view is truly breathtaking.

This is a lovely park for families. To the left of the entrance is free parking and a garden with lots of cute statues. On the right side is a children's park with slides, bouncing bubbles and stuff to climb. When it's hot there's a fountain for children to play in. There's also a children's ropes course and a cafe you can enjoy for a small fee.

I went there twice, in late March and in early April, 2017. In the first visit the cherry blossoms were not fully flourishing but in the second visit the flowers were just splendid. The weather was not exactly good. Raining and windy. Nevertheless the visits were really worthwhile. It is not a well-known tourist spot but is quite easy to go. Take the metro to Sasang Station and then walk to the Busan Seobu Intercity Bus Terminal. It is on your right. Keep walking straight for another 10 minutes and cross the bridge to the other side where the park is. The park is a single road lined with cherry blossoms. To see the flowers, one has to pick the right time of the year. Usually it is the end of March but in 2017 the best time is early April.
