What travelers are saying
- LastMinuteLarry454 contributionsNice beach but very windy, lots of sand blowing about, so watch your eyes! The beach benefits from very easy access and close to convenience stores and eateries. On our visit there was a huge music (gospel?) event which consumed most of the beach, but hey hoo we joined in for free and was given a foam sitting mat and bottled water - very kind and thoughtful, well done to the organisers (whoever they were!)Written December 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LastMinuteLarry454 contributionsQuite a nice beach, but certain areas towards the south are dirty, there were lots of dead fish, presumably from the fishing boats? The rest of the beach is okay for playing games and swimming etc. The beach area comes to life on certain nights for the Drone show, a sight to behold. Great atmosphere with lots of people picnicing, barbecuing and having a great time. On the evening we visited there were some street artists and small food stalls. Gwangalli bridge is also lit with colourful lights providing a great backdrop.Written December 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ian3 contributionsVery fitting memorial for the UN Service Men & Women from many countries who served in the Korean War between 1950 to 1953. Must do visit when travelling to Busan, if not South Korea.Written October 29, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 201902712Seoul, South Korea1 contributionIf you ask me, Dongbaekseom Island is a must-visit place for visitors to Haeundae. It’s a small island, but the coastal walk offers stunning views of Gwangan Bridge and the sea. The path leads to the beach, which allows you to enjoy the refreshing sea breeze along the way. What’s more, the camellia flowers blooming in winter add even more charm to the area, which is a sight not to be missed. If you stay until evening, you should definitely head to The Bay 101, which provides an unforgettable night view of Haeundae’s illuminated skyline. I can’t recommend it enough.Written October 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- podrozniczka60New Jersey16,825 contributionsThis is the oldest Busan beach originated in 1913 as a first public beach in Korea created by then Japanese occupants. This beautiful strip of land is nicely visible from the cable car. On an early morning in late August the beach was near empty but relaxing and pleasant, offering beautiful views.Written August 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Musings_MJSingapore, Singapore669 contributionsThis hike was combined with a visit to Oryukdo Skywalk. From there, we started the hike at the Oryukdo Sunrise Park and took about 3 hrs to complete the Igidae Coastal walk trail at a leisurely pace. It was lovely in March 2024 with spring flowers blooming. One can get impressive sea views and cliffs and it was very pleasant and not too strenuous despite some uphill parts. There were a few suspension bridges along this trail. We ended the hike at Yongho Starlight Park. From there, the Dongdaengmal Observatory offers a panoramic view of Haeundae and Gwangandaegyo Bridge. However, we had to take 10-15 min walk to the nearest bus stop to catch a bus back to Kyungsung University Pukyong National University Station (line 2). Will recommend bringing drinks and snacks as there is no place to grab refreshments along the trail except for the cafe at Oryukdo Skywalk. Highly recommend this lovely hike where one can enjoy the best of Busan's natural landscape.Written December 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Christian MCopenhagen, Denmark6,223 contributionsYongdusan Park is located a few steps - or an escalator ride - up a small hill in the middle of Busan.
From here, you can continue up to Busan Tower. And it's a decent place to spend about half an hour, taking a few photos of a beautiful dragon, a big bell, and a couple of other small things.
But you can't possibly spend much longer here. Suddenly, you're out again.Written May 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Go to this place by car is the most convenient. Check weather and wear comfort shoes.

- podrozniczka60New Jersey16,825 contributionsWe took the scenic cable car to the Amnan Park and truly enjoyed our outing. Most interesting are the hiking trails- easy and beautiful. There are many other nooks to visit . The cable station’s two level building offers a cafe, souvenir shop, Little Prince area, viewing area and art installations etc.

I didn't see much sea life or fish but the water was quite rough. Plenty of space for everyone and not crowded at all. - sea lover6 contributionsIf you ask me, the one place I want to go again is Dadaepo Beach. I'd heard there is very beautiful sunset before this trip, and it was absolutely true. What's more, a promenade was decorated on the beach. So it was good for taking a walk around the beach. But this place has a bad point. There weren't good restaurants nearby, which wasn't ideal. However, I was quite satisfied with Dadeapo, because i was really touched by the sunset. See my photos below and determine if you’ll go on a trip here. It was great sightseeing to me, and I hope you so.Written April 10, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - NelisThe Netherlands137 contributionsEntering at Daechon Park I had the opportunity to enjoy a nice hike at the beginning of my day. There are several trails to take, differing from hard to easy. One goed all the way to the top, which gives an amazing view over the centre of Busan. On the mountain there are several nice things to see, like a waterfall and a couple of temples.Written August 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
