Entering the museum I was not convinced I would like it. I was glad I did.
It is very much worth a visit. More than one such museum in the city? No, that would grow old quickly.
It is not as much an exhibit as it is an EXPERIENCE.
The entrance fee is less than $15.
You will enter a few rooms filled with optical and light illusions. There are themes to all that as the displays are particular pieces of art by the artist whose manifestos you can read on walls.
The main area is a great room with chairs around it, on two levels. That’s where the grand light and color show takes place.
In any case - come and see for yourself.

Favorite museum in Busan! Even if it’s a little bit tricky to get there, it’s completely worth it. If you are foreigner you don’t have to worry because they also have the information in English! And the service is really nice!

This is probably one of the better modern art museums in South Korea, and a perfect place to spent a lazy Saturday or Sunday afternoon. The attached restaurant id good but pricey so try the foodtrucks nearby in the sculpture park as a yummy, cheaper alternatives. Some exhibitions require additional payment, but you should be able to get right around in a leisurely 2hrs.

A very interactive museum, it is fun and at the same time informative. I enjoyed a lot the green screen part were you got to act as if you were in a movie and choose any background. If you are interested in Korean/international movies I recommend this museum.

Lovely surprise, on my way back from Haedong Yonggung Temple, I stopped over at the Radium Art center. It's a small art gallery with few rooms but with so much exclusive art creation from The french photographer Villers. Also, what makes this art gallery so exceptional, is the kindness of the director, she used to know personally Villers and around an espresso she can tell you or explain so many things about the exposition. The art gallery being a bit small, and if you are not an absolute fan of photography i truly advise to couple this visit with other activities around (there are tons of them)

Beautiful building and great exhibition space with well curated shows of first class artists.
The space opposite the main building is also worth visiting. Don't miss it.

The museum is far from the city. It took me 1hour by subway from my hotel in Jungang-dong. Once you alight from the subway station Hwamyeong, you have to walk about 10 to 15minutes to find it near the railway station Hwamyeong. The place surrounding was quiet as within a residencial and hotels area.
The museum has 3 floors. It shows from the traditional way of fishing till today's fishing vessels. It is actually very educational especially for schools (there was a group of primary students at the time of my visit). For me, it should show more of the different technics from the past till today as the museum seems to lack of content. There was a shark and its anatomy at the entrance which I wasn't too sure why it was there. The visit is free. There was no English guide (phamphlet) but it was fine for me. There was an impressive maquette of an ancient fishing village. Pity that there was not enough of light to show it. Overall, I like it but too little content for a long trip.

We had never heard of Busan untill we got there. On of the largest ports of the world makes this tower worth its visit. Once in the tower one can see so many vessels on sea waiting to make land. This gives you a grasp of the immensity of the port.
