- podrozniczka60New Jersey16,641 contributionsSondo Marine Cable Car originated in 1964 and reopened 2017 after a restoration . It is named after a nearby beach. The ride is delightful and the views- beautiful. After arrival to the final station there is a nice cafe to relax in , a souvenir shop with rather strange selection of items. It is worthwhile to climb to a second level for photo opportunities of the viewing floor with art installations. We especially enjoyed the opportunity to hike a little in the area. If you are with kids you need to visit roaring dinosaurs on display. The exhibits and installations are rather eclectic, including an airplane and the little prince statue.

One can take beautiful photos of the amazing cliffs. You put on booties over your shoes, to prevent scratches to the glass bridge. We strolled through the shops and alleys up toward the tower, took the steps and paths up to the base of the tower and purchased tickets.
The tower itself offers fantastic views of Busan and surrounding areas.
There were gamified activities to help keep younger visitors occupied but we focused on the views.

Enjoy the highest Starbucks in the world which I thought was fun to do. Equipped with a mini monorail that brings you both up and down the steep slope. Nothing special, but the view from Gadeokdo Island is good. The atmosphere of taking a break and looking at the sea is good. Observatory deck was terminated on March 2018.
