Nice beach but very windy, lots of sand blowing about, so watch your eyes! The beach benefits from very easy access and close to convenience stores and eateries. On our visit there was a huge music (gospel?) event which consumed most of the beach, but hey hoo we joined in for free and was given a foam sitting mat and bottled water - very kind and thoughtful, well done to the organisers (whoever they were!)

It’s nicknamed Korea’s Santorini, but I think its tumbledown rainbow style is closer in spirit to Italy, either the wedding cake tiers of Positano or the more ramshackle Cinque Terre villages. Built in a valley with a steep slope, the buildings here have been similarly painted in bright colors on multilayered streets and twisting alleyways. Up until 2009, it was a neighborhood more like the favelas in Rio de Janeiro, poor and riddled with crime, but then the government decided to renovate the area into a cultural hub where they turned vacated houses into retail shops and art galleries. Fanciful public art is omnipresent. There are a couple of established routes you can follow (Gamnae 2-ro and Gamnae 1-ro), and each one starts with spectacular views of the entire village. Eventually we made our way to the Stairs to See Stars, an art-filled staircase down to ground level. Santorini is Greece’s Gamcheon.

Haedong Yonggungsa Temple was one of the most stunning places I’ve visited in Korea. The location right on the coast is absolutely breathtaking, with waves crashing against the rocks below. The temple itself is beautiful, with intricate details and a peaceful vibe. Walking through the gates and up the stairs felt almost magical. It’s the perfect mix of nature and spirituality—definitely worth the visit!

Quite a nice beach, but certain areas towards the south are dirty, there were lots of dead fish, presumably from the fishing boats? The rest of the beach is okay for playing games and swimming etc. The beach area comes to life on certain nights for the Drone show, a sight to behold. Great atmosphere with lots of people picnicing, barbecuing and having a great time. On the evening we visited there were some street artists and small food stalls. Gwangalli bridge is also lit with colourful lights providing a great backdrop.

It is located between Nampo and Jagalchi station. Also it is opposite BIFF Square. It was eye opening to see many varieties of fresh and lively sea creatures such as abalone, crab, eel, octopus, etc.
I went there 2 consecutive days as my hotel is nearby. First day I ate at Stall 29. I ate spicy cooked octopus at 20k won. It was tasty. I was offered free rice which I accepted. Both female staff are nice and can speak English .
Second day, I went to try Stall 35. I ate stew mixed seafood(small) at 30k won. There are 2 crab(small size), 1 scalop, 1 prawn, 1 octopus and few clams. They did not offer free rice. Their English is very basic.
Seafood is not cheap but very fresh. So it was worth it.

That's the best and oldest pagoda/temple in Busan. It's as huge and old as Bulguksa in Gyeongju. You must stay there if you travel to Busan.

If you are in the area the square is literally next to a whole row of street food so you can’t really miss it. You wouldn’t even have to go to some restaurant because they street food are freshly done there & then! If you are just passing by, check out the handprints & autographs from famous Korean people.

This is a gondola ride called "Busan Air Cruise," which connects Songdo Beach to Songdo Sky Park. It is a popular tourist attraction, so there can be a line. But since gondolas depart very frequently, you can usually just show up and buy tickets at the door. There is a gift shop at the Songdo Beach station, and food stalls at the Sky Park station. You can choose between a standard cabin or a crystal cabin. I recommend the crystal cabin, as it has a glass floor so you can see everything below. Side note that most of the signs and literature are not in English. If you're still learning Korean, like myself, translation apps are useful here. I really enjoyed the ride and the stunning views. I feel this is a wonderful way to see Busan from the air!

    Good day out.
Lots of walking and exercise but followed up with some cakes and drinks!

Lovely scenery in the Geo Park
    Great views from the observeratory.
The cafe is up the stairs and offers some tasty treats as well as a relaxing sit down observing the views.

The light house is a little further on. We only visited the outside as we couldn't handle any more stairs.

There is a little road train that you can get but it was closed ont he daybwe visited.

Outside the Geo Park is a road full of convenience stores, cafes and some touristy games etc.

In the Geo Park there were several toilets signposted along the route. Some of them were a bit off the main road/ path but there were some close to the start and observation deck too.

Bring layers. Even if it's chilly out - it's deceptive, as the walking warms you up and with layers, you can take them off as you go.

Very fitting memorial for the UN Service Men & Women from many countries who served in the Korean War between 1950 to 1953. Must do visit when travelling to Busan, if not South Korea.

The bridge is stunning! We got a good view of it from near the lighthouse. At the end of the day, it’s just a bridge to look at and not an activity. You might end up stumbling upon it while going to or from other tourist activities, so you don’t necessarily need to go out of your way to get close to it. At least we got a nice bubble tea in the area after getting our photos of the bridge.
