- JrnyJunkieCleveland, OH922 contributionsAn archeological site with a sea view...the ruins of the palace pools go out into the water. Perhaps my favorite ruins in Israel. So amazing. The hippodrome is fantastically well preserved. I guess everything was covered in sand that preserved it all and they have only excavated like 10 percent of the whole complex so far...what else will they find?Written March 13, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Andy LougMoscow, Russia285 contributionsA great location and atmosphere of place, where you can see masterpieces of art and learn the history of Caesaria without entry payment. Artefacts from Dali collection, modern art from South America talents and an interesting archeological collection insideWritten March 12, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JrnyJunkieCleveland, OH922 contributionsThe Romans always had entertainment and this theatre gives an insight into how large this complex was as there are so many seats. The location on the Mediterranean is spectacular.Written March 13, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JrnyJunkieCleveland, OH922 contributionsAnother amazing aqueduct...the sand preserved it so that we able to visit it today. Parts of it are still buried in the sand and perhaps crumbling as well.Written March 13, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JrnyJunkieCleveland, OH922 contributionsAmazing to think about what this site was like during its high point. Built right along the Mediterranean it must have been incredible. All of these years and the sand preserved it all.Written March 14, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MarcusHurleyBristol, UK9,052 contributionsThe Caesarea Museum is in the vaults underneath the old Temple of Augustus. The museum was excellent with a good film explaining how the site came into being and then lots of excavated artifacts from the site. Free to enter as well.Written December 12, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- B TLondon, UK1,093 contributionsThey had a short (5/10 min) video which gave information about Caesarea and king Herod, why it was built etc. They also had some artefacts and things to look at. It is not that big inside. I would recommend going here first, before you look at the ruins as then you get your bearings and information at the start.Written December 27, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tee time should really be pr-booked, especially in the morning hours. There are not that many cars so worth pre-booking one if you do not want ta walk. Four tees so can be any type of challenge you want. I have to mention that green fees are pretty steep so ask before you make the trip..Written January 19, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Regi13New York City, NY122 contributionsCeasar Spa has seen better days.
Everyone meant well but the service was off. Breakfast took forever to be ordered and served. No more breakfast buffet, you order from a short menu and then the waitress goes off for 15 minutes to find out if they still have the item you picked.
The breakfast area and main lounge has been redecorated and has sadly lost its charm.
The massage was good and we enjoyed the jacuzzi.
The pools were cold but nice to look at. Coffee was good.Written September 28, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - ganittrip21 contributionsExcelent attraction for groups!
