This is the best mall in Bandung city with most complete counters. There are many good options for food and shopping. If you like to walk, this is a good place.

This is my 3rd visit to this factory outlet in Bandung.

Rumah Mode is a must go for all visitors to Bandung.

The architecture of this store is based on Balinese design.

All items sold in this store are original but made up of mostly old stocks. The prices are cheap and its best if you check the items before buying it.

There are coffee shop, prayer rooms and even a massage parlour to relax those tired feets after shopping.

We stayed at Aston Tropicana which was about 100 meters or less away from Cihampelas Walk, from Saturday 2nd thru November 5th. There were fruits stalls, a lot of restaurants and shops on sales. We actually stayed the whole evening there. Most shops closed at 10pm but restaurants stayed open till about mid night. A very good spot to spend the weekend with friends and families.

Bandung has a few of these very old shopping malls scattered around the city. This one is a Lippo Mall, large and well positioned close to Jalan Riau, several good hotels, the large Gramedia store and many of the factory outlets in the heart of the city. However, with much nicer more modern looking malls such as TSM, 23 Paskal, Paris Van Java, it pales in comparison.

The main store here is Matahari Department Store, and each level of this department store requires climbing steps to enter the store. Also the ceilings in Matahari are really low, probably I could reach up and touch it. During our visit there were Ramadan Sales on with discounts of up to 70-80%, not only in Matahari but also in many of the boutiques too.

Many of the stores here are selling fashion and accessories with quite a few of them being relatively unknown inexpensive boutiques, but there are also many branded stores like Levi's, Lee Cooper, Lois, Hush Puppies. Adidas etc and some Korean lifestyle stores. In additional there is an XXI Cinema and a large food court area on the third floor and a Mr. DIY on the 2nd floor. The ground floor has a Hypermarket supermarket along with several fast food outlets such as J.Co Donuts, Burger King and a McDonalds and there is also an A&W, Pizza Hut and Maxx Coffee in this mall. There is also a pretty awful play area for young kids beside the food court, a Fun World and a Timezone.

The food court is not very impressive as it looks old, basically a huge area full of tables and chairs with small food and snack outlets around the edge. It really needs to be upgraded and modernized so that it looks cleaner and more attractive.

Some of the better known restaurants in the mall are Gigglebox and D'Cost.

The bottom line here is that this mall is not very interesting. But the location is good and it is near Jalan Riau and the factory outlets and has a lot of stores and cheap eat places inside as well as a supermarket, so is a good place to come to on a rainy day or to browse around. It does also get crowded as locals often like to hangout here.

clothes sold here are almost the same as the shops along the road in Bandung, less attractive but besides there is a food outlet that sells snacks, quite helpful when you feel hungry after a long walk along this road Riau

I've have been coming to this market for a long time as here I can find all kinds of antiques, bric-a-brac, memorabilia and interesting things. You can find antique furniture, I mean the really old teak wood furniture, vinyl LP's, coins, stamps, paintings and cuckoo clocks. In fact although I buy some antique furniture here, my main reason is to buy cuckoo clocks or to get my antique clocks repaired by one of the specialist stores who also makes crystal chandeliers.

The market is located on the third floor of a pretty bad building called Pasar Cikapundung and has a car park underneath and can be accessed by stairs or lift. I usually see buyers from Jakarta and even from overseas browsing the market. Also, one can buy snacks, hot noodles etc and hot drinks. This is a really nice place to spend an hour or two.

The place is too little to be compared to a museum. Lots of stairs (be careful when bringing the elderly or children). The place is far from the city. you can not go by public transportation here and it's far from nowhere (except for restaurants in the high area). Good for coffee, taking pictures, relaxing and chatting with friends.
