Our private driver was super lovely and attentive. There were no annoying wait times either. My only complaint is that my boyfriend and I were seated in the middle of the raft, and the couple in front and behind were not paying attention to their paddling and therefore, were both out of sync. This meant my boyfriend and I couldn’t paddle the whole time without clashing against the other passenger’s paddles constantly. - Charly P1 contributionFirst and foremost, the driver that was sent made our holiday! Jik Mang picked us up on our second day in Bali to go to the rafting centre, he was joyful and a pleasure to be around, was on time and after the rafting experience gave us his full day, he took us to the mother temple and then back to sanur.
On way back to our hotel in sanur he asked what we had planned and was available at any time when we needed him to take us to different parts of the island sanur to amed from amed to ubud and then from ubud to seminyak all on seperate days, I know have him as a friend on Facebook and if I return to the island will for sure meet up with him again can’t thank you enough for your services Jik 🙏🏼
Now the water rafting experience was amazing from start to finish a few stops along the way one at a waterfall where refreshments could be had.
Down two 4m dams
Our raft instructor Paul was a good laugh and pushed for us to go on the best bits of the river.
Would 100% doit again
Thank you guys had we not done the rafting on the second day we wouldn’t of had a trustworthy guide for the rest of our holiday.

My husband and I spent the day with the Rio Tours Crew and we couldn't have been happier! We were lucky enough to be the only ones in our raft so we felt very VIP! We were able to stop at a waterfall and a lot of the time we felt like we had the entire river to ourselves! It was one of the best memories from our time in Bali, and we've lived here 3 years!

He even stopped and showed us an amazing coffee/tea tasting along the way! We saw a couple monkeys! The food at the end was delicious! The rapids were small enough to not worry with children. FYI and not reflective of the company - Lots of stairs to get to river and back to the top after rafting. Would be difficult for an older person or person with an injury. Then we did the ATVing which was super fun. It was great for myself, a beginner, and the staff were helpful and knowledgeable and made me feel safe. Not quite perfect if you have a need for speed though. However, we did the white water rafting right after which was amazing! It was a little bit of a trek down stairs to get to the river (and back up after) but totally manageable and worth it. All the guides were experts and even at low tide the rapids were super fun. We were able to have some beers while rafting, take some pictures in water fall and jump in to swim.
