What travelers are saying
- VishalWestern Cape, South Africa241 contributionsGoogle Review for Kuta Beachwalk Mall
Kuta Beachwalk Mall is a great spot for shopping and entertainment in Bali. The variety of stores offering clothing, shoes, and fragrances ensures there’s something for everyone. One of the most unique features is the koi fish ponds surrounding the central stage of the mall. Feeding the koi fish was a delightful experience and drew a lot of attention—it’s both picturesque and engaging. The mall has good security at all entrances and exits, which adds to the overall comfort while shopping. Around the mall, you’ll find vibrant flea markets with local vendors selling affordable souvenirs. While prices can be high at first glance for foreigners (understandable due to rental costs), a bit of friendly negotiation often results in a fair deal for both you and the vendor—a win-win situation. Do be cautious when navigating the streets around the mall, as the bike traffic can be chaotic, with some riders even using the pavements to bypass congestion. However, transportation is convenient, with taxi apps and empty taxis readily available to take you anywhere in Bali. Overall, a lively and enjoyable shopping destination with plenty of charm and local flair!Written December 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Located on Kuta Beach, the mall features a variety of international and local brands, dining options, and breathtaking sunset views. After shopping, you can stroll along the beach or relax while enjoying coffee and the scenic horizon. It’s an ideal spot for families, couples, or solo travelers seeking a mix of retail therapy and Bali’s natural beauty.Written December 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - DIKA BALI DRIVER TOURKuta, Indonesia740 contributionsA fun weekend evening with friends walking in a large mall in the Kuta area, our exciting experience today was visiting here, walking around inside, very large and lots of clothing shops with affordable prices, as well as a variety of food available... the parking lot is comfortable and spacious .It's not far to go to the beach, just behind it...so we are very happy to be able to come here🙏Written June 8, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dan LBunbury, Australia8,798 contributionsThis is an extensive complex of shops, tenancies many and varied, and with many dining options but not the ideal place to visit on a hot humid day. Airconditioning struggles with the open design, tenancies similar with their open frontages. There is not a great lot of seating for visitors to sit awhile, on two occasions we had to visit a café and order a snack so that my wife could have a breather from the heat and humidity. Having said that, we did enjoy browsing, my wife in particular, unfortunately Indonesian sized clothing and footwear are unavailable for males of larger build. I’m rating as 4* for the range of outlets and ignoring the traffic nightmare encountered to/from Pantai Kuta.Written August 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dan LBunbury, Australia8,798 contributionsI think some reviewers are confusing Poppies 1 and Poppies 11, two distinct lanes/narrow roads that link Jalan Pantai Kuta and Jalan Legian. P{re Covid, both were fairly vibrant, unfortunately Covid has devastated mush of the businesses that flourished in Poppies 1. Lengthy sections of the lane have hoardings erected, vacant premises and in places, cleared areas where it looks as if new developments might be underway. Most of the businesses currently operating are located at each end.Written May 29, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - FunHolidayAnywherePerth, Australia46 contributionsThis place has great clothes, variety may not be the best, but the clothes are of good quality for a great price. They have all the big brands ie. Guess, Calvin Klein and Gucci. However they are fakes, but to be honest they are that good, you wouldn't even know they are fakes.Written May 27, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dan LBunbury, Australia8,798 contributionsMost ground floor tenancies are occupied, similar merchandise on offer throughout. We didn’t venture to the upper floor. The market aura, vibrancy and clamor vanished with the demolition/removal of the original during the Covid period. Now the atmosphere is virtually sterile, few customers, tenants pleading with the few that stop to view, hoping for a sale and then an acceptance that its not going to happen. Similar merchandise available in a plethora of shops in nearby streets. We miss the old markets.Written August 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- fabelleNew South Wales, Australia504 contributionsI found this place by accident. It’s definitely worth going in. I was after some drinking glasses and they had a reasonable range at great prices. They sell single or multiple amounts. They also have a good range of vases , water jugs , trays and light fittings.Written August 24, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Gail H4 contributionsAnika tailor was recommended to us after they made a formal dress and linen suit for friends. They kindly agreed to see us on short notice and we ordered two ladies' linen trousers, and a top and dress of our own design. Their choice of linen fabric was great. We also ordered some shirts and shorts to be copied from pieces we took with us. We were leaving the following day so they mailed the items to Australia, received about 3 weeks later. All pieces were beautifully made. We have made a few small adjustments since receiving the items because we didn't have the time in Bali to have a second fitting, but this was easy. We are happy to recommend Anika Tailor.Written November 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- RozaYWGCanada393 contributionsThe vendors have the same things as the ones on the street. They do start with ridiculous prices but seem to go down to what others charge (and what we were willing to pay) once we fully walk away.
No AC like we expected since it looked like a store but it’s just stuffy with multiple vendors sent up in tight spaces.Written August 15, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
