From Mall Road the distance of Lal Tibba is just 6-7 kilometres and the road is steep and u must have good control if u r taking your vehicle. The road is one way and u can face jam also on the road for hours also. Once u reach on the point u will find a restaurant permitted by the Uttarakhand Government which is having a Binocular on the top to give u the view of Mussorie from top. This is Lal Tibba. During my visit the weather was not clear as such there is no vision from Binocular. Overall my experience was fifty- fifty.

    Highly Recommended!

The Soham Himalayan Centre is a treasure trove of Uttarakhand's art, culture, and heritage. This meticulously curated museum showcases the region's rich history, mythology, and traditions. The owner's dedication and hard work are evident in every aspect, from the intricate artifacts to the warm hospitality.

The exhibits beautifully highlight Uttarakhand's diversity, featuring paintings, wood carvings, coins, and folk music intruments. I was impressed by the attention to detail and the passion that has gone into preserving the region's cultural heritage.

A must-visit for anyone interested in Uttarakhand's culture, this museum is a testament to the owner's commitment. Spend at least 2-3 hours exploring the exhibits with a guided tour for deeper insights.

This is nice day visit on your Mussoorie visit. It is a Cantonment town at one end of Mussoorie. Its charm is it quiet serene atmosphere , almost caught in an old colonial time warp with 4 shops and old bakehouse ( now modernised) and two churches. There aren’t many hotels here and mostly home stays . Maybe on my next visit will stay here away from the hustle and bustle of Mussoorie.

The Camel's Back Road runs parallel to the bustling Mall Road but provides a different experience with distinct features. While locals recommend morning or evening walks along this route, it's also worth considering if you have the time and energy as a tourist. Stretching 3 kilometers from the Ambedkar statue at Library End to Picture Palace at the opposite end, it offers an alternative to the more crowded Mall Road. The Camel's Back Road is less frequented by tourists and boasts fewer shops, typically only 2-3 Maggi points along its length.
Although the scenic beauty rivals that of Mall Road, the quieter atmosphere and fewer shops might make walking here seem more subdued. However, at the midpoint, there's a viewing point perfect for photographs, which serves as a highlight of the journey. The road is wide enough to accommodate vehicular traffic, allowing visitors to explore by car if preferred.

Kempty falls is a beautiful place to visit , but commercialized , if you wanted buy handmade stuff , yep are lucky ... Souvenirs, little pouches and etc.
I preffered steps to reach kempty falls but cable car is availabel. You can rent bathing suites for reasonable prices buy suggest to carry your own suites!

A very basic, small garden with little to explore. I recommend avoiding the unnecessary entrance fee of ₹50 per person and the local vehicle tax of ₹100.

We didn’t find the house the remains of which no longer exist we were told but we enjoyed the museum of cartography recently opened to commemorate Everest’s work as Survey General and others. The walk up from the car park is challenging but very beautiful. The view from the top looking north is great but to the south you see nothing due to pollution.

Very professional setup that provides an incredible hiking experience. Be sure to contact the people mentioned on the website, so that they can arrange the guides - for first times, recommend going with a guide like we did. The hikes are relatively easy, and kid friendly too. Spotting birds, butterflies, animal droppings, trees and hillside views, or just breathing in the pure air - there is something for everyone.

This location is situated 5 km from Library Bazaar. Before reaching it, there is a turn-off on the right side leading to Clouds End. There's ample parking space available before ascending some stairs along a narrow path, which typically takes around 15 minutes and is not particularly difficult.
Upon climbing the stairs, you'll first encounter a small temple dedicated to Lord Buddha and a small tea stall. Continuing further up, flanked by flags on both sides, you'll reach the summit where a large statue of Lord Buddha stands. Locally known as Dalai Hill because Dalai Lama stayed here for a period, the top offers a stunning 360-degree view of the surroundings.
Due to being off the usual tourist itinerary, this spot is usually less crowded, allowing you to take as many photos as you like without any hindrance.
