Speciality Museums
FREE ENTRY TO ALL VISITORS --- Darshan is not really a 'museum' in the conventional sense of the term. Although it does what every museum does, keeps alive a memory, but at Darshan, it's done through 3D Holographics, Life-Like Statues, Realistic Sets, Hi-Def Audio, HD Video, Theatrical Lighting and much more!Darshan is the next step in story-telling. The visitor literally 'walks' into a scene and the scene 'plays out' before your eyes! Each scene is brought to life through realistic sets, and within the set are various props that help to recreate the scene before you. For the first time in the country has 3D Holographics been used in a show! Characters appear in thin air and act out scenes before your very eyes! A truly magical experience!Darshan tells the beautiful story of a Saint of Modern India, Sadhu T L Vaswani. He was a visionary, an educationist, a spiritual giant, a poet and much, much more! His life bore witness to the universal ideals of Unity, Brotherhood of all life, Compassion, Love for all, Peace. He inspired many to work for the cause of the independence of India alongside with Gandhi, he worked for women upliftment years before modern society did it, by starting a Women's Education Movement called the Mira Movement in Education. The Mira Movement in Education has now spread to many cities and thousands of young girls benefit from it. He was an animal rights activist, his birthday, 25th November, is celebrated as Animal Rights Day and crores of people pledge to abstain from food of violence on this day every year! He was a spiritual giant. He spread the Eternal Message of the Saints and Rishis amongst the common man and made the Divine accessible to everyone. Ever a believer in the Unity of All Life, He promoted no one religion but taught that all religions lead to but One Goal. The Paths are Many but the Goal is One! His spiritual poetry has been compiled into the largest compilation of Spiritual Poetry by a single author in the world! It is called the Nuri Granth and is revered by his followers as a storehouse of spiritual wisdom and knowledge. We invite you to come and experience His simplicity, His wisdom, His purity, His unique life at Darshan!

It was a sort of planned trip on one Sunday morning of February (not the best time to visit though) with friends. We spend almost 3 hours there and found this place really amazing. The best part, it was a clean place and no littering by visitors. Bad part, it is not preserved much by the government. If required, they can put some entry fee but needs to preserve the history and heritage. A good place to visit with family and friends. You can also enjoy local Maharastrian food with really good taste (under the tree and on a mat, typical desi style). A must visit place if you are in or around Pune.

Very nice spiritual divine experience. It's a Hare Krishna temple, official ISKCON temple. Very nicely managed. Very traditional Tirupati temple right in back of main temple. Beautiful place. Must visit. Food stalls to eat are too good and affordable. FREE Khichadi prasad is delicious.

Absolutely fantastic . I got souvenirs from Bombay store, the kids went to Hamley’s to play, we had Chinese food for lunch , we went early so there weren’t a lot of people. I bought a nose ring - anything you want is here from traditional clothing to western clothing as well!

This happens to be one of my favourite places to visit in the city.
I generally go there for writing exercises when I have a writer's block and want to be inspired. Last year, I visited this place with an artist friend of mine and we spent the day writing and sketching throughout the museum.
If you are going to visit with kids, make sure that they are in an age group where they are curious and can understand what is shown to them.

Our tour company had set us up with a guide for half-day, while on a trip to see friends in Pune. We had asked to see this Jain Temple, and really enjoyed the experience. A member of the temple was able to tell us more about it, and our guide translated. The priests were preparing for a ceremony (pooja) and allowed us to see the offerings and the interior of the temple. Pictures of the interior are not allowed, however the beautiful statues and ornate columns and ceilings were an impressive part of the visit.

Overall nice and serene temple, you feel energy when there. A little more cleanliness and fixing walking barriers will add more comfort.
If there can be a palki service started for elderly they will be able to offer their prayers
