A must do if you are in Sharm and you are not a diver: good for old and young. (if you are a certified diver and want nice immersions, there are dedicated tours in the same area). A roughly 2 hours boat trip will bring you to a very nice coral barrier where you can snorkel and watch plenty of fish. Just outstanding! If you wish you can arrange upfront with the tour organizer a “try dive” for a small addition to the tour price. (My kids dit it and were very satisfied). The boat will make a second stop close to a sand strip with crystal clear water in the middle of the see: very nice but less impressing than watching the undersee flora and fauna. Regarding the choice of the operator: while every operator will claim that “his package” is special, thy are all exactly the same: if you are budget sensitive you should pick up the cheapest provider (remembering that in Egypt the price they quote is just the beginning of a negotiation). Price is the only distinguishing factor: you will not actually meet the actual operator you contracted, but you be picked up at your hotel and, together with other excursionists picked up in other hotels, you will be brought into the Marina where plenty of other people are delivered. Please note that the concept of price as only distinguishing factor is also true for other “short and local” activities (such as the desert experience with quad and camel driving) but it is NOT necessary applicable to customized longer tours (see for example my review with a private tour to mount Sinai and St. Catharina Monastery): there you will be for a long time in contact with the tour organizer, and you should ensure upfront his (all males in my experience!) reliability, level of knowledge and capability to interact.
Back to the boat trip to Ras Mohammed: just do it!

Nice place to visit. Pretty lights and fountain show.
Ice Bar was a rip off price and then rip off price for the drinks too, but an experience that had to be done.

Plenty of shops. Need to haggle as you could be paying 100% more in some shops for the the same item!

Shop owners do approach you ‘to come and just take a look, no hassle’ but they do hassle just be kind and walk out.

Plenty of restaurants and nice mix of modern and classic Egypt.

As our main reason for choosing the Jaz Fanara hotel on Ras Um Sid bay was the house reef just off the beach, we were thrilled to discover it was even better than we had hoped. Every day we discovered a new species of fish and thank goodness we had invested in a Collins Coral Reef guide on the Red Sea fishes so they could be identified. We snorkeled from the pier on the left of the Ras Um Sid bay to the farthest pier on the right over a few days. We came out of the water just near the Farsha cafe on one adventure, but were very sad to see piles of plastic bottles and plastic debris floating on the sea and on the beach. It seemed as though it had come from the trip boats 20 ++ that pile into the bay daily, to bring there guest's to snorkel. Shame on them for allowing such pollution, don't they understand that if the reef is destroyed they won't have any livelihood, as no one wants to snorkel on a dead reef.

We've done some snorkeling in Thailand, Bali and in the Dominican Republic but none of those can be compared to this. The clear water, the reefs, the number of different kinds of fish and species...

Sahaba mosque one of the most beautiful mosque in Sharm el Sheikh. It attracts many tourists to explore its beauty.

If you will enter inside, you will find calm and quiet atmosphere that will make you feel welcome and in harmony. We ta amazing place inside the same as outside.

Amazing experience with the dolphins. Great show with some very cleaver dolphins. The animals around the show did look in great shape which did put me off.

They don’t let you take any pics while swimming with the dolphins which ultimately meant you would have to buy the pics from them. $5 each pic and $35 for a vid!

You have to pay another $5 each if you wish to watch your family swim with the dolphins, which they didn’t tell us about !

A lot of shouting and pushing by the locals to try and get a seat and some people where walking over us to sit down!

Very beautiful place. We visited a show and it was so great! Fireshow and a guy with snakes made my day, thank you guys!! There is wonderful fountain which is dancing according to the music. Kids were happy to see it... For a pity just a little part of Hollywood is opened now, because of Pandemia of Covid there are not s many tourists. And prices of drinks in the bar around scene are too high (((

This night entertainment zone, with free entrance, is a very pleasant place to spend your night in Sharm. Every hour you have the dancing fountains light up with western music, and Arabic music. Nearby there is a stag where there are performers who play traditional Egyptian, there are belly dancers dancing, while you have a drink or smoke a shisha.
The whole zone is full of beautiful lights, there is ring for ice skating, imagine skating at 35ºC! Besides there are a lot of shops in this zone and good restaurants. The shopping centre has little choice. This zone is quite near to some hotels as Concorde, Hilton and Savoy. Can be reached on foot, just a few metres safely.

A beautiful place , although small, but, a good experience where you can see some Pharos heritage, ships, mummies, tools, ancient jewelry and modern one.
If you like museums, don’t hesitate to visit.
