Quicksilver crew was so fun, attentive, & knowledgeable. This was our first time snorkeling and the crew made it foolproof and safe, but we still felt we got the true experience. We packed in Time of activities on our trip to Mahmya, but seeing 3 Honu (turtles) during our snorkel session was one of the greatest highlights!! Cheap, refreshing drinks on the ride back to shore as well!

This is our second visit to Makadi water world this year. Yet again we all had an amazing time there. Had a 12 year old and a 4 year old with us and you can’t keep them out of the water! They absolutely loved the shark house and pirate ship slides. They want to go back again! The lifeguards round the children’s areas are on the ball, all are very friendly and helpful with the kids, also on the adult slides, all staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable , this must be from the excellent training from The aqua park manager and assistant aqua park manager, we were lucky to meet them both again, both such lovely guys and speak excellent English. The aqua park as very high standards.
The place itself is a beautiful area with lots of sun beds dotted about to sit and relax if you wanted. We went in a busy time of the year and there were plenty of beds free.
The toilets and changing rooms are spotlessly clean.
The restaurant area is near by where you can get drinks including, water, cola, sprite, fanta, tea and coffee. You can get a selection of fresh pastries all day long, lunch from 12 to 4, you can get pizza, burgers, hotdogs, chicken shawarma, sandwiches and ice cream.
Go and see for yourself what a great place it is to go!

Please, everyone who sees this little girl who is about 12 years old or the woman with a small baby watch out, they are full on stalkers who sell necklaces and bracelets I told them I would give them money tomorrow for a bracelets and necklace they came to my hotel and hot the staff to come find me when I went downstairs she was with her mum but started saying my mum is in hospital and I said me to my mum is having a double mastectomy what's wrong with yours? She didn't have an answer other than my mum is in hospital so I opened my wallet and had her 200le then then her mum grabbed it off her and said whay about me i said no this is for her so i can get the necklace and bracelet she just walked off. Then everyday then come to my hotel asking security to find me and ask me to take them to restaurants and pay for everything I've had to tell security not to let them in and they hot me to call the tourist police as whay they are doing is wrong. So just be warned ⚠️
The marina itself is a nice place with loads of cafés and small shops. Please always haggle for the prices as they charge tourist more than double, sometimes tripple. Plus you can always ask a restaurant for a discount and usually they will give you 15% to 20% off food and drinks. There are also two shops on the back road of the marina, which will be much cheaper to get cigarettes and cola fizzy drinks and soft drinks than in the marina.
They do have a private beach on the marina which you have to pay for it comes free with my hotel but the beach is shallow and you take take anything with you like water as you have to but it there I would say go to Dream Beach instead much better 100%.
Any questions message me and I'll reply when I can.

One of the greatest locations in Gouna is Abu Tig Marina. Great bars and restaurants, a variety of stores, and a lovely area to stroll and observe people and boats. From Cairo, Gouna is a veritable haven of tranquility. incredibly neat, well-planned, and organized. Abu Tig and Gouna are genuinely a mental state.

The Senzo is a set-price mall - no haggling and has the best airconditioning in Hurghada and when it's 40 or over outside, this is very important. Mainly big named brands - but be aware of fakes in the more stall like shops. There is no mall wifi only wifi provided by each separate shop for their use. This can affect your payment by card as we found out to our embarrassment. We did get a beautiful Isis pendant and selected a chain to go with. The seller was very trusting - many egyptians are - and directed me to the cashpoint and trusted me to come back to pay for it. He insisted I still wear it the whole time. I was staggered. Naturally we got our money asap and paid the man. At the end of one part of the mall was a souk - that is where we found some real bargains for our souvineer and gifts in the form of alabaster tea lights (totally beautiful) and unusual models. Again, the traders were so trusting and they all borrowed each other's card machines when theirs went on the blink. Interesting society.

I stayed here with family and friends for 2 weeks through June and July. We absolutely loved it at Sindbad thanks to the animation team - especially Daniel. Eventhough Daniel is new to the team, he made our holiday! He was so friendly and chatty, and we thoroughly enjoyed his company. Daniel got us all involved in darts most days and made it a hilarious experience by encouraging healthy competition. Daniel and another member of the animation team, Max, came to see us off the day we left which was such a lovely gesture and massively appreciated. I have kept in contact with Daniel since my holiday ending, and my family and I have booked up again to return to Sindbad in September 2024. We all are looking forward to seeing Daniel again and laughing with him all day!

At first thought would be classic market / under one roof- actually is a massive area-street after street. Some sections with fresh corpses hanging outside for people with strong stomach. Worth to visit.

A very beautiful aquarium with a lot to see. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Hurgada. It was very quiet when we were there so paying for the skip the line pass wasn't necessary. Peek season may be different.

We got a boat shuttle from our resort to Zeytouna Island for a few hours. Walked along the boardwalk and watched people snorkelling. Definitely worth a visit for an hour or two.
