After looking at reviews on Trip Advisor we booked a private snorkeling trip with Ahmed. We couldn't recommend him more. He was so accommodating especially when I had to change days at the last minute and it was super easy to arrange everything with him through WhatsApp +20 101 844 0161.

He picked us up from our hotel in Dahab on time and took us to the Blue Hole. He went through everything we needed to know before we went into the water and provided us with wetsuits, fins and goggles. The wetsuits were an excellent choice as we saw many other companies there who weren't providing wetsuits and in February the water was still a little chilly.

The Blue Hole is stunning. We saw so many fish and different types of coral. We spent just under an hour in the water which was plenty of time to enjoy the scenery. Ahmed also took many photos and videos of us snorkeling so that we could just enjoy the moment.

After a successful trip we then had a wonderful lunch in Dahab and then drove for about 40 minutes to see the canyons. Wow! So beautiful and we got to have tea with a local Bedouin family who live in the desert. The jeep ride to and from the canyons was also a fun off road experience...hold on! Before heading back to our hotel, Ahmed gave us some wonderful mango juice...the best I have ever had. This was a nice touch to end the day.

We had a brilliant day and if you are looking for a wise guide with lots of diving/snorkeling experience then Ahmed is your man.

The Coral and marine life is espectacular. Have in mind its the red sea, your buoyancy will vary so adjust your waits if you are planning to due scuba. Water is warm all year around, I dove with a 5.5 mm wet suit and I was very comfortable.

A heavenly site that needs a long trip tobreach but is worth the hassle.

I adore the site with its sandy beach and the contrast between the water land and mountains

The place is in the middle of nowhere (there is a hotel/resort, but the area is deserted), but the reef is absolutely amazing and great for just snorkelling.

A remote home away from home in the middle of the desert. It has a nice view from the balcony, of the Sinai chain of mountains. A peaceful getaway place for prayer and meditation. A resting place after a long and tedious climb of the highest peak of mount Sinai. However no Wi-Fi or electronic gadgets hence ideal for meditation or getaway.

I had SO much fun. I also fell quite a bit in the beginning and got sand into everything - even my mouth and nose! But with a little bit of practice I got the hang of it. Ali was a great instructor and didn't try to overly guide the process, allowing us to 'go with the flow'.

Dahab's hidden gem and a kitesurfer's paradise. The scenery, the water, and the basic yet very well maintained hut style camp all contribute to an experience that feels out of this realm we live in. I don't surf but will bring kids back to see it. I did however enjoy the swim, the bedouin tea and the sunset behind the mountains and the kite surfers surfed into the night. We were recommended to pack a picnic, which we did, but food served to others looked good, so maybe it's worth a try. The service is impeccable and there is no sense of any kind of rush in this place.

"Ein Kid" means "Kid's Oasis". It isn't easy to reach: from the Dahab-Sharm el Sheikh road there is a carriageway, which can be traveled only by 4 x 4 vehicles, which after about 40 minutes of not comfortable travel arrives not exactly at the oasis, but at a blind alley, from which 20 minutes more are required of strenuous walking on foot in a narrow and uneven gorge, accessible only by men and camels (and possibly donkeys). This explains why the site is particularly overlooked by lazy tourists (who are obviously the majority).
But when you arrive you are rewarded by the vision of a magical place. To the attraction that the oases of the desert exert, here are added the fantastic shapes of the rocks (mainly granite) that form the gorge, and that contrast with the "domesticated" nature of the palm groves and orchards.
This oasis was for us the point of arrival of the twelfth and last stage of the of the "Sinai Trail"- first section: a section starting from Ras Shetan near Nuweiba. After twelve days of walking and 190 Kms, the oasis allowed us to end in style our tiring and exciting experience.
