The hike to Nevado Santa Isabel is not long but it can be difficult for some people due to high elevation. The views are amazing. But be sure to bring warm clothes and drink a lot of water during the hike. The weather in this area can change rapidly. When I was hiking the weather went from warm and sunny to cold, cloudy, and rainy

    it's a magic place!

When you are here you will feel like you connect with nature, a beautiful place to see animals and to have a good time, a great plan to do with your family.

This review is about Pereira, well I'm from Cartago, but I usually go to Pereira for different reasons. If you compare Pereira with Cartago, it is so bigger! so in the beginning I getting lost myself in the city (currently still happening me). In my opinion, Pereira is a wonderful city were you can find a lot of amazing places to visit, really I don't remember the name, but there is a park where is a naked man riding a horse (that's curious).

About the food, I didn't eat much times in Pereira, but one time I went with my father and we eat a delicious lunch for 10.000 pesos, I will never forget that "sancocho de pescado". Was a good lunch, I get filled with the food and I would like to go to Pereira and taste that "sancocho" one more time.

In public service, I can talk about the buses. I think is cheap, with one ticket you can travel for all the city (well, that said me my pereiran's friends)

A sense of inner peace and tranquility manifest within you as you arrive to La Divisa De Don Juan coffee farm or finca, and leave the bustling city of Pereira behind. At the entrance, you are greeted with the site of a beautiful traditional Colombian home and by the amazing family that has run and operated the Finca for generations. Their passion for coffee, or café, is infectious and they care for you through the entire experience as if you were part of the family.

This amazing experience starts with a brief history of the family-operated farm and of cultivation of coffee itself as well as an amazing traditional home-cooked meal. The meal is accompanied by a unique view of the lush rolling hills filled with biodiversity are truly breathtaking and represent the true natural beauty of Colombia. You are then welcomed to completely immerse yourself in the entire process of plating to germination to cultivating to processing and even how to professionally brew coffee. You are shown hands-on how these processes work as you walk through the beautiful farm.

Along the way, you are given tools to have a more spiritual experience and to renew your relationship with mother nature. This was truly one of the best parts of the entire tour. As a Colombian American, this really allowed me to get back in touch with the rich historical culture of Colombia. I would go back a million times if possible and would recommend the experience even to locals. Thank you to Ms. Lili for such an amazing experience and I can't wait to return and see how much my coffee tree has grown.

This place is a must-visit in Pereira. The interior is amazing and made of ornate wood. It's much better in person than any photo can take and do it justice. It's free to enter and right next to Simon Bolivar plaza.

We really only visited the different pools, but this place was awesome for that. Our kids had a blast playing in the special kids pool area, and even enjoyed the bigger wave pool.

We will definitely go back to explore the rest of the park another day!

Starting from El Cedral, in the outskirts of Pereira, you can enjoy a 12 h walk to the Otun Lake. You would have to sleep in El Jordan or other place (book in advance). It is better to get in advance a mule to bring your things

This is a very busy place, at the time of our visit there was a mass going on and the was parity full for a mid week early evening.
The roof is supported by some very big pillars, the place was quite dark there was it seamed a lack windows.
The building is different in that the for the first 4 m are stone which is supporting a further 4 m of wall made of wood which then supports a wood roof.
For me the most interesting part of this place is the roof.
