We had an amazing time, unfortunate or fortunate, it rained for 8 hours the night before we rafted, making the river muddy liked every other river, however the up side was that our rafting adventure was so much more fun because the river was swollen and running fast! It's a great place to stop for a day or two but be aware that you need to have your transport out of the place, pre booked because you can't just flag down a bus!

Fredy is the best guide. In addition to knowing the destinations he infuses the experience with his deep and personal knowledge of indigenous culture and medicines. Much more than I signed up for or expected. I highly recommend him to anyone wanting a destination and cultural guide.

This was a nice escape room. We did the Amazon one, and the riddles were quite fun and challenging. The only thing that I wasn't too fond of was the decoration/settings. I totally get that it's not easy to make a room in the Amazon, but this made it a little bit less "real". Otherwise, all good!

The tour guide Kevin was amazing. The best guide I ever had. Was an amazing person and super welcoming. He showed us around the comuna and even let us watch a soccer game played by the locals which was the highlight of our night.

We had a great day going to La Piedra, Guatape, El Penol, Ritero, and a beautiful waterfall. Diego was our guide and he was easygoing and gave us lots of information. A full, fun day!

This company is awesome!! I brought my teenage sons here on spring break and we spent three days with their guides and drivers. Every day was a new adventure and an authentic Colombian experience. This company really made our trip one of our best yet!

Juan was a terrific guide. He is very familiar with the towns, restaurants and the coffee plantation that we visited and greets many friends along the way. This friendly demeanor and sharing of friendships offers a slice of local life that is otherwise not available to a tourist. His English is great. He shares his knowledge of the towns and history. Restaurants for breakfast and lunch were very good! Felt good in the tummy. While the drive is longthe scenery is spectacular. I would highly recommend this leader and tour!

Our family of five (myself, my husband, and three boys, ages 19, 18 and 14) have traveled in wild places, trekked and camped, but never have had as epic an adventure as we did with Expedition Colombia. The four-day trek pushed us to our physical limits, but we felt such a tremendous sense of accomplishment braving the steep, rocky, muddy terrain and long mileage, with the help of our intrepid, supportive, kind guides, Jules, Diana, and Isa. Along the trail, they taught us a great deal about the native animals and plants (we even tasted a few edible plants), and they motivated us when we needed a push (sometimes letting us ride a kilometer or two on the donkey). We stayed in the homes of local farmers, getting a true sense of what life in the area is like, and our hosts prepared delicious meals for us - even accommodating our vegan diets. For lunch, we had filling typical Colombian foods (plantains, rice, yucca, for example) wrapped in banana leaves to keep them cool - often eaten by a waterfall or other scenic spot. Our guides always had snacks on hands, from bocadillos de guayaba to crackers with cheese and caramel sauce, along with many forms of trail mix. We experienced hidden swimming holes and breathtaking views of the countryside, from up in the clouds. On the third night, we camped by the Samana river, and before dinner while resting our weary legs, Jules brought us wine and appetizers (hummus and pita) as we lay in our hammocks (extremely comfortable to sleep in, actually!). The rafting was exhilarating and a great family bonding experience; after three days on foot, we loved being able to experience this extraordinary landscape from a different perspective. This is a challenging trip for sure, more so than anything we’ve ever done (and I’m an avid hiker who hikes most days of the week), but it is the adventure of a lifetime and we couldn’t recommend it more.

Something unique to do in Medellin! Many people even the locals don’t know that there is a coffee farm in comuna 8. The family was wonderful and were very accommodating. We learnt so much from them and also about the history of the country and city from our guide Arturo. This was the highlight of our time in Medellin!

Booking was easy, communicated and arranged transport via whatsapp. Our driver Edgar was friendly and even took pictures and videos of our group throughout the whole experience.
All the pilots were amazing, my flight with Juan David was smooth and I felt safe the whole time. Highly recommend!
