Very interesting. Was not expecting it to last long as it is set in one of his old properties (stash house) but it lasted 45 mins and the guide was very good

Be careful in the neighborhood. Lots and lots of homeless laying in the street and sketchy looking roads and street shops.
You can't take pictures of the Botero exhibit, which is huge! Gah! Apart from that, a really exceptional museum highlighting Colombian and Latin American art through the ages.
There is a nice cafe on the ground floor.

This is a beautiful historial site to visit. The gardens are exquisite and lovely to walk through. Perfect for a picnic or walk about. You can pay for the garden tour alone or also include the tour of the castle. The castle is beautiful filled with historical furniture and antiques owned by the family that donated the site to serve as a museum. The balconies are wonderful for seeing picturesque views of Medellin. I am planning to return soon!!

I wanted to like this more than I did. It is free to enter, and it is quite educational, but most of the exhibition is completely in Spanish with no English translation. It is pretty small. The neighborhood around seemed quite dangerous, with lots of vagrant people openly using drugs right next to the museum the people who worked inside, seem to mostly like college students, and they were very helpful.

This is one of the most interactive and informative museums I've had the pleasure of visiting. It hosts a variety of exhibits focused on the importance of water to the biology and natural elements of Medellin and Colombia as a whole. Our tour guide, Andres, was very informative and genuinely passionate. Some exhibits display information in English, as well.

This was a somber experience. Walking around the small cemetery and viewing the craftsmanship of the past. It is a quiet oasis inside a bustling city.

An excellent exhibition of this artists work. There is a library on site if you wish to find out more about the artist and his relationship with Medellin, and many helpful staff who will also offer their knowledge.
Beautiful old house , murals, paintings and sketches.

I live in Canada and this is my first time in Sailors. The best tattoo studio in Medellin. Félix and his team has a lot of experience and good energy. The place and environment are beautiful. I got two tattoos with Felix, two pieces of art. Even my mom went with me and she got a tattoo. Thanks so much. I would come back for sur next time I return to Medellin.

The art in this museum is very contemporary and political. There are usually special exhibits. The building itself is worth seeing. Once an industrial building, it is now a fascinating, modern structure. Start from the top floor and work your way down. The small tienda, museum store, is also worth visiting.

Over the past 3 plus years, during numerous trips from the United States of America to Medellin my husband and I have purchased more than a dozen pieces of various mediums from Arte Loft Galeria, for our home. Owner, Nora, who speaks both Spanish and English, is always as delightful and helpful as can be while while we shop in her kitschy gallery. She has a keen eye, constantly reinventing her gallery by seeking out new talented artists’— She tends to chose artists whose works convey unique perspectives often utilizing diverse and mixed mediums. Definitely stop in and check out this gem of a gallery!

Although it's not a very appealing neighborhood at first glance, the collection of the gallery contains multiples Colombians artists that have a huge role in the modern art history of the country and the tour was very interesting.

The architecture of the 4th floor is crazy and could provide lots of nice event (performance, installation, video, conferences etc...)

They have space for artists residency, but I didn't visit that part.

In overall, I found their mission challenging but also very interesting, because it aims to create a strong social impact in the neighborhood by offering access to culture, workshops and a library (the only one I could find in the hood) but also to open up the places of the city where "things happen" and create a new dynamic outside of the trendy Medellin.

They have a coffee shop on the first floor and coffee was good, the space calm. I would suggest this place to curious people that want to see something outside of the box, to art collectors passionate about Colombian artists, to couples that are looking for a nice coffee in the hood and finally for books lovers.

Advise : Call before getting a tour.
