We had such a wonderful day with Luis! Not only was he kind, helpful and knowledgable about the food, but he was also nice enough to tell us more about Medellin and the sights we were driving past.
My dad is in a wheelchair so theres a lot he usually cant do. But this tour was perfect. Luis helped with the wheelchair and made sure we were ok wherever we went.
This tour, and tourguide Luis especially, is highly recommended!

If its your first time in Medellin, I recommend a tour because its going to help you become acquainted with the city. The city is immense and a tour made it so much easier to experience it without becoming overwhelmed. After booking a tour, the best way to communicate with the Administration is via WhatsApp using the company number on the website. For security purposes, be sure to ask beforehand for your tour guides ID and license plate number of the car that will be picking you up.

However, if you’re not bilingual and only speak English, make sure to ask for a tour guide who is proficient in conversational english. I suggest to be very insistent on this, because the quality of service you’re going to receive depends on this. Even if the tours say bilingual, not all guides speak it fluently, and the experience can soon turn unpleasant if you feel like you can’t communicate with your tour guide.

My favorite tour guide was Julio, he greeted us enthusiastically, was very respectful, timely, extensively knowledgeable in history and city details, engaged excellently with us in fluid conversation in both English and Spanish all throughout the extent of the tour, made us feel like we were hanging out with a friend, and suggested which was the best form of transportation around the city so we weren’t sitting in traffic all day. I recommend anyone who books a tour with Medellin City Services, to ask personally for Julio Gomez.

Erika was a wonderful tour guide! She is so personable and knowledgeable, and she's very sweet. She picked us up from the hotel in her very clean, comfortable, and air-conditioned car, and we drove out to Saboneta for the tour. The food is heavily pork, which my husband doesn't eat, but she was able to accommodate pretty easily and find substitute items for him to eat. Erika was so good, we called her the next morning to do another tour with her when the one we had scheduled didn't show up.

I have done a lot of tours here in Medellin and this was definitely one of the best! My tour guide Jacobo, was very friendly and knowledgeable. I learned a lot about the city, its culture and way too much information about exotic fruit! I actually enjoyed riding the metro, getting to know the people in the market and the lunch at the restaurant was exceptional. I highly recommend this tour!

I actually think the title should be: Enjoy a day of exploration of Medellin: walk the streets, taste the food, Escobar if you wish, customize it.
Mario was simply fantastic. He picks us up, say, ok, Escobar, graffiti in Commune 13, etc. We told him, we did Commune 13 yesterday, without any hesitation, "ok, then we will go", and he described a tour that included Escobar but a new route in the city. We were with him from 9:00 am until about 5:00 pm, and every minute was wonderful. We really felt like we were seeing the city, in fact, we never saw any tourist until we made stops near a famous square that we were happy to visit. We posed with school children for photos (forgot to get a copy from Mario), we at a local restaurants where I can almost guarantee you they rarely, if at all saw American seniors, we chatted with the surviving driver of Escobar, etc. If you just want to feel like you really have seen the city, take a separate tour of Commune 13, the hire Mario to really spend the day showing you Medellin. Mario: the greatest, and his English skills are perfect.

The highlight of this tour was the cable car ride together with riding on the metro rail, muy interesante!

Additionally, it was a real treat to experience elements of the flower festival and the associated creativity. This was followed by us having the opportunity to purchase street food and exotic fruits such as mangosteen #delish

The driver we had was so cool, I’d call him mi primo! The people at the ATV place had much more to do but what we did was really fun. They were accommodating and had a lot of materials for us when we went to make sure we were safe and fresh.

Gaston was our tour guide he was a biologist who funny enough majored in the study of bats haha , he was really smart and knowledgeable about most topics , he took us deep into a part of Colombia you'd never be able to see unless you're a real local .

this wasn't your typical cookie cutter tour this was a real experience with real people and in a real part of town that went through a lot of conflict but its rising high and really fast through the help of the government and tourism I can't stress enough how important this tour is and how much we learned.
we had a lot of fun from harvesting fresh cacao plants to swimming in pristine waters, to eating an amazing home cooked meal from locals to making our own chocolate drinks and sipping it with the locals .

truly an amazing and unique experience .

A very satisfying experience from the beginning, i took the city tour and grafitti tour. The guide always very attentive with my family and me, plus very interesting data about the city and the communes. Went to very iconic places of medellin and besides the rain everything was better than expected. To anyone who asks me I recommend it

I had the private food tour today with Sarah and she was fantastic. She was right on time, spoke excellent English, and was very good at answer all my questions. It wasn't just a food tour. She took me to a really cool look-out point and helped me understand the entire valley. I should have done that Day One so that I better understood the lay-of-the-land. I highly recommend her services.

We spent a few hours viewing properties and neighborhoods in El Pablado, Laureles, Envigado, and Sabaneta. Viewings were a little sparse because of the time of the year, but we still saw some good locales. Good intro to the area. Recommended. (Real estate only, but we did have ice cream ha).
