Door people changed the cover as we were entering. but still a nice place, music is A++, drinks were good. i see others say they drinks were pricey, I didn't get that vibe. This place is located in Rio Sur mall which has a lot of clubs/ bars inside this large complex. 25,000 pesos gets you into this club and the one next door. Wednesday and Thursday night they have Salsa (on1/on2/clave) including a beginner's Salsa class and Thursday a live band, both days are mainly populated by visitors and tour groups. Guess locals aren't into Salsa as we know it in America or Europe. Beer is COP 10,000 ($3).
Friday and Saturday night they have Colombian Salsa music and the live band - the place is packed tight with locals on both nights with no moving place really. - Richy WHouston, TX17 contributionsI will not go to Medellin without stopping by this little gem! It is a small bar, but has an amazing atmosphere with fantastic staff. Everyone is so friendly! And if you ask politely (as long as it is not too busy), they play music by request. Last time I went the band alternated English classic with Spanish Rock (this is what they advertise) 90% in Spanish. Also while the band was good I did not find the band as off the hook as last time. The Colombians in the crowd seemed to enjoy the play list fine though the place just didn't seem to have the electricity it did last time. The bar seems to be populated mostly by prostitutes looking to make some money off of the tourists. My feeling was that unless someone is looking for paid company they have little business being there.
