It was an amazing experience, loved it! The pandas, the place, everything in this place was fun! Totally recommend! Just make sure to wear some comfy clothes and shoes! Lots of mosquitoes though!

Amazing place for a peaceful walk, not touristy like so many other temples. Free entry, just had to show green code. Lots of little buildings and walk ways to go around. You can light a candle in memory, or for reflection. The exit gate leads you to a beautiful pedestrian street with various small restaurants and shops. Lovely place to sit and relax for a while, feels like a bit of an escape! Note - lots of shops selling embroidery - they might not be as 'local' as they make out!

Not for the faint of heart! It is very humid and very steep. It is a beautiful mountain and cool temples disbursed through the trails. We are relatively in shape and young-ish, and this was a difficult hike. Even after you take the cable car to the top of the mountain, there is still significant walking. Lots of signs about the high oxygen content, since the area is so lush. Very beautiful area. I wish there were more signs about the temples.

We spent our last hour here. It was good but wished we could have stay another night to experience this town at night. Quite interesting. Plenty to see. Lots of food here. Area is clean and nice to walk about. Glad we visited Jinli.

Using the subway system in Chengdu is easy. just scan you subway card and go. All stops are listed in English and many trains even show you which car is closest to the exit.

I got a recommendation to visit this place, one of the points of interest and landmarks in Chengdu. We stop our bike at the main gate and have a walk here. Tbh, overly crowded here and many signature foods and snacks here but some of them are pricey. Don't get lost here! You better come a night 🌟

Visited DuFu cottage on May 2, 2021. Not as many people as in other tourist sites. Nice park, traditional Chinese park. I wouldn't say the best one I visited in China, still it has the beauty.

We spent several hours touring the site and wandering the grounds. The findings are presented in a pleasant and understandable manner. The English audio guide is well done and worth the 20 yuan charge.

This is a beautifully restored temple and grounds. We visited in November but I expect the gardens are spectacular in spring, summer and fall. This is a calming place--very serene. If you are a senior, ask for the senior discount.

Its the largest building by floor area in the world. It has a shopping mall, an indoor water theme park and cinema. Indeed an eye opener for me. Definitely worth a visit.

This is a popular shopping and night entertainment belt. It resembles the pedestrian streets of Nanjing West Road in Shanghai and Wanfujing in Beijing.

There are plenty of shops and restaurants here and the place comes alive at night with the neon lights.

I discovered both higher end restaurants and small shops offering popular Sichuan cuisines.

Given that this is right in the center of downtown, best way to visit is by public transport as the roads are very congested at peak hours.

The bridge is a staple of chengdu, and it does not disappoint. It makes for a great picture, especially at night. The area does have a bar street next to it, so you can stay for awhile. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars, is because unless you live in the area you will need to taxi to it.

We saw the show back in May. This is a traditional Sichuan show which as others have correctly noted is more of a variety show and not what those of west might expect of by way of an "opera". This is a traditional opera show with face changer, hand shadow, Chinese opera, music etc. We got vip tickets and had the neck massage beforehand but you can also get your ears cleaned which is fun to do when in Chengdu. The hand shadow performer was absolutely breathtaking and the opera singers were also amazing. We have such respect from the Opera singers and the costumes after getting dressed up ourselves. Cannot fault the staff who were totally excellent and helpful and offered a table service of green tea and snacks. Well worth a visit and we would happily watch the show again next time we are in Chengdu as it is such a fun thing to see.

But it's surely for devotional people to focus on their religion.
It's peaceful and calm, has the magic to cool you down.
There are so many different god's statue here, place to learn Chinese fair tales, if you can remember them all, :D
