- Happy TravelerDublin, Ireland99 contributionsA good place to shop if you want bags, shoes or glasses. Lots of people, too many trying to help you. You must negotiate with anyone trying to sell you anythingWritten July 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - R LHong Kong, China339 contributionsA popular mid-size shopping mall in the Futian area near hotels like the Grand Hyatt, Four Seasons and Shangri-la. Many restaurants, mostly Chinese cuisine and like most mall in China, foot court is on basement with a supermarket which could be handful.Written June 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MissHK2009Hong Kong, China5,816 contributionsThis mall is huge, away from HK-Shenzhen border or city centre. It's quite crowded, more of locals.
It has many many restaurants and shops with a supermarket. You can learn horse riding here too. The golf course and Hard Rock Cafe are nearby so it explains why so crowded although away from city centre.
I enjoy my time here. One can stay half day here as it has many things to explore.Written June 26, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LeonhknyHong Kong, China21,484 contributionsThe Mixc has been a landmark of Shenzhen for decades. It is still an upscale shopping mall in the Guangdong city with all imaginable luxury brands scattered around the huge complex. Quality restaurants are also aplenty. A stroll around the mall offers a glimpse of Shenzhen's newly gained affluence.Written October 8, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LeonhknyHong Kong, China21,484 contributionsKK Mall is a popular shopping mall in Shenzhen's lively Luohu district. Beyond the familiar international brands, it is full of local boutiques of very good value. The food court at fourth floor is lively with some interesting eateries.Written October 8, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JoeBangkok, Thailand4,955 contributionsThis is no longer open as the building is going to to demolished and something else will be built. You can find a smaller version on the opposite side of the road, on level B1 underneath a furniture store.
Has some crafts, gifts, red packets, decorations, paper, household stuff. But not the same as before sadly.Written November 8, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Today is my second time visiting this mall which is a bit far from the Futian border to Hong Kong (over half an hour by taxi). It's in Baoan area beyond Nanshan. Metro station is just next to the mall.
Still love it! Clean, very large, cozy with many shops and restaurants of cuisines of different Chinese provinces, price good. Some restaurants are Michellin recommended or starred. Quite some people but not too crowded.
If one goes for dinner, better go before 5:30 pm otherwise you will see a long queue starting from 6pm.Written May 25, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LeonhknyHong Kong, China21,484 contributionsThis is a large shopping mall next to Shenzhen's most popular tourist attractions. Yitian Holiday Plaza is a lively place with plenty of shops and boutiques to explore. Restaurants are aplenty and the gourmet row at basement is particularly vibrant. MTR connection is convenient.Written July 14, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- LeonhknyHong Kong, China21,484 contributionsShenzhen is not lacking in new, modern shopping malls. The Mixc is an upscale chain with multiple branches in the city. This Nanshan mall is perhaps the most popular one. It is a grand, glitzy place with the familiar international brands. The top floor is full of quality restaurants. Tourists can have a nice pastime here.Written May 19, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- KodoDrummerBuenos Aires, Argentina70,626 contributionsExpensive or cheap, the sea-life sold here is fresh. There are hundreds of tanks and tables on which are offered all types of sea-life and seafood. Buy it to take home, or one of the restaurants on the street will be happy to prepare it for your dining pleasure.Written February 26, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KodoDrummerBuenos Aires, Argentina70,626 contributionsTook a break from walking the beach, and went shopping at the upmarket Daneisha Outlets Shopping Village (DMS Outlets). It is home to about 200 clothing and fashion shops, a cafe, Pizza Hut, and a beer house DMS Outlets is a few minutes walk from the Sheraton Dameisha Resort, and essentially across the street from the main entrance to Dameisha Beach, and Seaside Plank Road.
This area of the city used to be the former home of a small fishing village. The wise government officials recognized that this would be a great place for an exceptionally beautiful public beach and resort area, and as that developed very favourably and brought in many visitors, other businesses were drawn to Dameisha Beach area, including the demand for or likely success of having an outlet mall here.
Although a few of the locations had a 30% sale, we found prices to be much higher than at the outlet malls in the USA and Canada.
In many ways with the bodies of water and bridges connecting the sections of the mall, it is much nicer than most outlets in the USA. At the same time, it is home to many of the same outlet stores, together with some Chinese and other Asian outlets.
Prices are higher than typically in USA, because of import duties.
However, it is a great place for visitors to walk around and spend some time. Although I had no initial plans to buy anything, I did spend US$240 buying some clothing.
I am attaching photos of the brochure I picked up t the DMS Outlets’ service office, which lists the retail stores and other businesses it houses.Written December 3, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. A short metro ride from downtown, the Upperhills is new, modern and spacious. The outdoor section is a cute imitation of small town. Exploring the mall is of much fun and quality restaurants are aplenty.Written March 7, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - DCWh0datPhoenix, AZ79 contributionsIt's a large mall. Not as large as I was expecting. But, definitely large. I wasn't crazy abour the selection of item there. I didn't make any purchases.
