- sseitz94Xuzhou, China190 contributionsThis place is a great way to get your child excited about traveling. It shows you lots of significant landmarks from around the world. There are a few rides along with some shows as well in the park. In the park, you can buy a fake passport and stamp all of the places that you have been to within the park. This is great to get kids excited about traveling.Written May 2, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- RMLtravelsShenzhen, China51 contributionsA massive miniature model country. Needs a full day and probably an evening; we noticed big crowds queuing for the light show at sundown and this would be a great option.
Having lived in Beijjng for 3 years and toured around a bit we were impressed with the accuracy and intricacy of Forbidden city, heavenly and summer palaces models etc...the Great Wall model is Cecile B De Mille epic.
Food was inexpensive and regional snacks readily available. A big issue for young families is the availability of toilets and SC provided lots of clean and convenient facilities. Wheelchair friendly attraction.
Splendid China has an old school charm; inventiveness, pride and inspiration to travel more. This easily could have been naff but was really very delightful. Will visit again to complete the other half of China.

You can watch pictures getting painted or in some shops, you can try by yourself. Also, a good place to buy painting equipment.Written December 5, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- LeonhknyHong Kong, China12,297 contributionsGiven its sheer size and population density, Shenzhen is best explored via its extensive metro network. Train is clean, modern and frequent and price pretty cheap for travelers. It is also the best way to escape traffic congestion in the Guangdong city.Written March 1, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KodoDrummerBuenos Aires, Argentina64,756 contributionsThe theme park has five roller coasters, primarily for young children. That said, some of the rides are for teens and daring adults. - JoeBudapest, Hungary3,336 contributionsLychee park is one of the oldest parks in Shenzhen, and also one of my favorites. Located in a central part of Luohu, this is an easy park to get to be metro. With multiple gates and entrance points, you can start and end this in many places.
As with most larger parks in the city, there is a large body of water that is the central point of the park. You can take ‘duck shaped’ boats out for a boat ride, or watch the locals do their work on small fishing boats.
There are large areas of greenery, where you can rest, have a picnic or play sports/games, or just put a hammock up between 2 trees and take a nap.
Towards the back of this park there is a much older feel to it, more like a local community park that was extended onto the main Lychee Park
There is lots of striking local architecture in the background of this park, namely the KK100 and the Diwang Building, both iconic and unmistakable.
And at the main entrance there is the Deng Xiaoping portrait. One of the landmarks of the city. A testament to one of the heroes of China.Written November 3, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - mrbrentharrisShenzhen, China404 contributionsI really like this mall because of the diversity of it, many different stores, many different food items... The shopping, i would say is on the pricier end... - mrbrentharrisShenzhen, China404 contributionsThe climb/walk is not easy... Many steps... parts are unpaved and slippery... That being said- the views are incredible... You can see clear across the city to Nanshan...
