... one can simply "sit back" and enjoy the Alaska-like world-class flatwater kayaking (snow-capped mountains, waterfalls, calving glaciers, National Parks, icebergs) here in one of Patagonia's best wilderness areas.
Our guides Leslie and Denisse were amazing, really professional, told us a lot of interesting facts about the flora and fauna in the park, they were enthusiastic and so much fun!

Views were stunning - and the "catamaran" ( which is really a large, enclosed boat with an open top deck for better viewing) would stop for views and photos of a good-sized penguin colony, a sea lion colony and so...
Aboard the Cat "LM Roca", you depart Puerto Natales at 08:00 and take in cattle ranches, a Cormorant colony, a sea-lion colony (only in Summer) and condors soaring high above the cliffs.

These guys really know how to make your stay at Torres del Paine unforgettable and I highly recommend to book tours with them to have an authentic and high quality experience in the national park!
... “Chile outdoor”, which we recommend visiting in the Patagonia region: Day One (01/15/2019): Gray Glacier is a part of the South Patagonian ice field, the third largest glacier on the planet after Antarctica an...

On time departure, great views, nice walk to Balmaceda glacier, fantastic weather (we were lucky, it is usually rainy or overcast), accommodating staff,
During our recent stay in Puerto Natales we did a day trip by boat with Agunsa to visit the Serrano glacier and had an absolutely fabulous day.

I spent 5 nights in San Pedro : 3 at Estancia Cerro Guido (go there !) : took a 3 day trek up the Pingo Valley and a 2 day ride before a day in Santiago.
Our guide Nico and the driver Luis were both very professional and extremely kind and available to changes of program (and of horses).

Great help with coaching and looking for the best points on the river for the trout.Patience of an Angel and excellent English and a sense of humour.
Upon arriving at the lagoon, Sebastián quickly set our fly rods, provided some instruction and guided us through a fantastic day of catching many good-sized Brown trout.

I decided to stop after about two hours and wait in a very comfortable lodge (with bathrooms and heat and an amazing view) while my adult kids and Gonzalo completed the hike to the Base of the Torres.
At the lake, Gonzalo also provided us with a delicious lunch, and at the end, he surprised us with some delicious Chilean wine.

Kayaking with Alex and Rodrigo was a fun and adventurous experience, mainly due to the fast-changing weather (drizzle, snow, sun and wind all in the one morning).
The hike was wonderful, with very well prepared people that know exactly what to do in terms of safety and ensure you have a full experience, even bringing spiced tea to enjoy at the glacier, taking amazing photos...

It's amazing with the mountains around as you paddle the meandering rivers, glaciers, icebergs, condors circling overhead, crystal clear water, howling gusts of wind and so serene.
He's very experienced, we only have a short time window to go up close to the glaciers before the wind picked up, I was glad and grateful that Angelo hurried us, otherwise we would have missed the chance.

We had a wonderful time getting to explore Lago Grey, seeing ice bergs up close, and viewing the glacier from the island (much better than the view that other tourists on the boat trips will see from the bridge).
The last day we paddled across Laguna Serrano, the terminal lake of the Serrano glacier which gives plenty of opportunity for iconic pictures of small floating bergs and kayaks in front of the glacier wall.

Accommodation was fabulous, hotel Natalino is probably the best one in Puerta Natales and Nash lodge in Serrano area is a gem, very patagonian, with a character and awesome views.
He had expert explanations for the natural history of the alien landscapes we were hiking through and was there to support us through the more challenging difficulties of the hiking trip.

Guides Jose and Rodolfo were super knowledgeable, friendly, safety-conscious and above all provided a really fun day on the water.
I came to the city with my girlfriend and we really wanted to do a boat tour since I was told it was a “Must Do” in this city... and we didn’t regret it.
