The Angkor archaeological complex is a World Heritage Site and one of the wonders of the modern world.
    Absolutely fabulous
Huge area with a varied set of temples spread out.
A journey to the ancient Khmer world.
Some of the temples are in ruins, others are undergoing rehabilitation and others are better preserved.
It's a pity that thousands of tourists are unaware of the complex's cultural richness and behave inappropriately.

The temple was less complex than the others. Since most of its buildings has collapsed. But the hallway design was very unique & beautiful.

Unveiling the majestic Baphuon Temple in Cambodia, visitors are transported back in time to the 11th century, where this architectural masterpiece dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva stands as a testament to the Khmer Empire's rich history and cultural heritage. The temple, built during the reign of King Udayadityavarman II, served as the state temple of Angkor Thom, showcasing intricate carvings and a towering pyramid shape that reflect the Khmer architectural style of the period. Thanks to extensive restoration efforts funded by the French government, the Baphuon Temple has been meticulously preserved, allowing travelers to witness its grandeur and historical significance firsthand. As one of the largest temples in Angkor Thom, the Baphuon offers a unique opportunity to explore Cambodia's past and architectural prowess, making it a must-see destination for those interested in ancient wonders.

This was our last temple in Cambodia, and it was great! The temple isn't big, it doesn't take a lot of time. It's 3 levels, so you have two sets of stairs to climb. They're not bad at all. It's a beautiful temple, and the five sanctuary towers on the top have gorgeous carved detail. And lions. Big lion statues. The view from the top was great. This is another one that is pretty quiet, not many people. It was great having the place mostly to ourselves.

This was fun to walk across the boardwalk on a lake to get to the trail that leads you to this temple. The temple is an artificial island with a small Hindu temple on it. At the base of the island are two snakes that surround the island. We liked that the scenery was unique from the other temples

These temples are further away from the city centre but definitely worth a visit. The drive takes more than an hour to an hour and half each way but the visit can be done in about half a day. Did these and visited the floating village on the same day.

Such a huge variety of art works here to view. Charged a small entrance fee. If you love art you could easily spend a couple of hours here walking around. Little bridges, water, gardens just make this place quite special.

The Phare Circus is AMAZING ! We were blown away by the qualitfy of the show and the perfomances of the artists. Time flew by and it was already the end. It was poetic, funny, impressive. The live music give another dimension to the show. Also the Phare Circus is a social project that need support so please go to see them and support their art, it's so important! Also the boutique is high quality, we found some amazing things. Also we went a little bit early and had some amazing food there, at 7pm, a kids show was displayed and it was so cute.
    10 out of 10!
