What travelers are saying
- Luis DParis, France78 contributionsThis place is absolutely stunning ! Especially at sunrise. And there are so many amazing other temples in the area but you need the BEST local driver to take you and show you around as I had (on a AC nice car, of course as it’s too hot for Tuk-Tuk).
Bona is the best driver I could ever ask for. We met by chance when I arrived at the airport. He is super kind, smiling always, very professional and he knows so well his way around these temples and how to get the best photos and he even likes to take you photos which is far better than selfies. He shows you all Siem Reap area and surrounding mountains and fishing villages where you go for lovely boat trips! This guy is just amazing! Thank you Bona. I will return.

- TheLush101Cardiff, UK2,467 contributionsAfter sunrise over Angkor Wat, we headed to Angkor Thom, through the majestic gate over the bridge lined with figures.
This is a series of temples, rather than one, with many many towers adorning it. Although they're now weathered, it still an impressive sight. The main temple complex is smaller than Angkor Wat, but was less busy when we were there and we were able to wander around more, through the complex underneath the towers. If you're fair-skinned like me, you'll welcome the shade whilst you look at the carvings from the 12th Century. Definitely worth a visit.Written September 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I would recommend visiting on a hot sunny afternoon or during a rainstorm. The exhibit rooms are nicely air conditioned.Written October 7, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- sarahladh6 contributionsWhat a wonderful market. We went on our last day in Cambodia after spending the first couple days exploring temples and were SO happy we came. The work is exceptionally high quality and the stories of the artisans is very touching. We left with a lot of great items and strongly recommend visiting on your tripWritten October 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - lucycanSan Diego, CA3,619 contributionsThis park is a massive complex of many temples. Angor Wat being the most famous. Its pretty special and I'd put it up there with the Taj Mahal and Machu Picchu. - stephen cDornoch, UK15 contributionsWell worth the $5 USD entry. A good outdoor based museum with loads of rusting armoured vehicles and artillery artefacts and anti personnel mines. - Hayley RBranxton, Australia20 contributionsBeautiful tributes to the people lost during the Khmer Rouge reign. Artwork goes into detail for the treatment received and torture devices. Monks live there but at times didn’t appreciate us looking around. Recommend visiting if you have some free time.Written June 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
