We just visited the centre to do some shopping and had a short tour of the centre. We had been to a few restaurants in Phnom Penh that had served food on plates from Khmer ceramics. The products are beautifully made and there is a huge variety of items for purchase. I could have happily bought half the shop but apparently airlines have some weight limits!

Had a brilliant time making soap here! The hosts are lovely, we arrived and they talked us through every step of the process and we got to choose what we wanted in the soap. We then had a tour of the shop while they got our work table ready. They helped us with the whole process and I cannot wait to see what our soaps look like tomorrow! Was also really interesting to hear about how they are helping the local community. They are doing a great job out here and I would really recommend going to make some handmade soaps!

    Beautiful architectures.
We took a lot of photos
The Kluk Village was a cultural shock but was amazed to see how the fishermen and his family stays. Their stilt houses was really superb. Food was good too. The villa we stayed was very clean and nice. Their hospitality was good

This place is a very interesting project, use the lotus fiber to create fabric (scarves, clothing, natural antibacterial masks) by employing villagers women and families. The boat tour is very nice and interesting. You get to learn all you can do with this flower. After the visit you get to have lotus tea and biscuits on the rooftop with a great view of the lush vegetation and rice fields around.

A group of 6 have travelled with Discova tours through Vietnam and Cambodia. What can we say - seamless from airport collection to departure - knowledgeable guides, safe drivers and fantastic local experiences in each region we were based in. Superb hotels - tasty restaurants and fascinating insights into both countries. Regent travel UK booked the trip and we will highly recommend them for using such a great local based company.
Daniel, Nhieu, Stella, and Raksa to name a few and their lovely drivers.

Positively surprised by this handicraft workshop with its own store. Very fine pieces all made in Cambodia. We ordered several made to order to be shipped home to the US. We purchased not only because we liked the product but also to support this enterprise that promotes the handicraft trade in Cambodia. Congratulations to Pierre-André for the marvelous job he is doing!!!!!

I had an excellent tour led by guide Seila! With his help our group were shown the wonders of these temples. The tour was well paced and we were given plenty of time to explore each temple. Seila also provided a wealth of information about these temples and of Cambodia's history. He also helped point out perfect photo opportunities! Thank you!

They failed to pick us up. A tuktuk driver appeared at the right time. His English was very limited and he did not have a name. He phoned his organiser. I gave my name to the man on the phone who said 'yes yes'so we went with him. Expecting to be taken to the Air con transport, we instead arrived at a temple. At this point I rang Bayon. Bayon, who made out the wrong Tuktuk driver had picked us up!
We should have been able to rendezvous with our tour at the first temple. Bayon would not let us, saying we had to return to our hotel and for us the tour was cancelled. He confirmed a tour party of 8. I tried to phone again to say we would join at Preah Khan, the first temple. He did not answer (3 times). We decided to go there anyway as we were well within the timscale for that first stop. There was no Bayon tour there or anyone else matching the description of 8 people with an Englush sleaking tour guide. We went back to our hotel. Hard not to avoid thinking this was a scam.
We eventually got the tour cost back through Trip.com but we are out of pocket as they would not reimburse the Angkor pass, normally $74 for the two of us.
So, beware Bayon tours! Tripadvisor, take note, please.
