We had a wonderful cooking experience. It was well worth the cost of the tour. I would highly recommend it. Our cooking instructor was Sivorn.

The cooking class here was amazing. And it was with the most friendly and patient chef Sinuon. She was a really good teacher. Luckily we were the only ones who booked the afternoon class so it being private made it even better. We could choose our own dishes and eat them downstairs in the restaurant right after. Also got the recipes in the mail now so I can cook them again when Im back home. Can definitely recommend this to anyone in Siem Reap!

What a fun experience! The cooking took place with the kind guidance of the staff. The food turned out to be delicious and we have access to the recipes we made. It was a great way to spend an afternoon.

We did Package 4 which included trying a few craft activities- extracting thread from the stem of the lotus, threading seeds onto a bracelet and making paper with lotus stem pulp.
The highlight was a boat trip to see the lotus growing in the lake - which was beautiful. The boat driver stopped and made us flower bouquets and these very fetching hats 😆
But be warned the tuk tuk ride from the visitor centre to the lake is VERY bumpy and the community who live around the lake are obviously living a very ‘subsistence’ lifestyle…. hopefully they will benefit from the tourist boat trips.
The Lotus farm is a fair trade social enterprise who have provided a trade and income to many women 💜

Sokha and her team made me feel welcomed like a friend from way back. The class was fun and super easy to follow and super yummy. Mine was not as good as what they serve in the restaurant, so I would suggest 2 visits so you will know how it tastes when a master of the craft makes it. I made the mistake of eating in the restaurant first... talk about unrealistic expectations 🤣. Sokha helped every step of the way, answering questions, explaining all the ingredients and being so kind. She took pics and videos, sending them in what's app in addition to sending the recipe and tips as well. Great fun!

Thank you Dee for an amazing morning. we had a fascinating tour of the local market. I took so many photos as there was so much going on. At the school we cooked 3 dishes of our choice and they all tasted amazing. We were given alternative ingredient names so I can recreate at home. We toured Dees garden where she grows her own fruit and veg including bananas and mangos ! I learnt so much and Dee was so friendly x

This was a really fun activity to do! The owner Kim is also inspirational. You learn how different rice wines are made with different infusions then enjoy tasting, following by cocktail making. All the bottles are painted individually by local artists who are deaf. They are passionate about creating jobs for the locals. Highly recommend.

Excellent activity. From the English speaking tuk-tuk driver to the professionally trained Master Chef the whole experience was amazing. All the ingredients were prepared with personal assistance assembiling the meal. An informative tour of the local village market started the experience.

Sophos provides not only an excellent cooking class—applying his years of experience working as a chef—but also shares insights into Cambodian culture. Walking through the market was also very informative.

    This was an incredible experience!
The attention to details far exceeded expectations. Ms. Than Chandy arranged our ride and was helpful throughout the class. We had a lovely market tour with Mr. Bun Lengkou who is well traveled and culturally knowledgeable. We learned so much from Chef Kao Koytong and prepared four local dishes including amok to our delight. The staff was so fun, they joked among themselves and Us. We had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this class.

We had the best experience ever , a really interesting tour around a local market trying lots of different local foods herbs and a few insects 😂if you wanted to

Then we were taken to the countryside cooking school which is located amongst the rice paddy fields. The class takes place in the outdoor kitchen of the orphanage whilst the children are at school .

We met Ben and the master chef who cooks for the children and had the most informative fun cooking lesson . We cooked in the open fires and the food was delicious .

We were given all the recipes to take home the best experience of our trip to Cambodia . The team are doing such a fabulous job supporting children and giving them a home and a chance of an education .

Don’t hesitate to book this experience and also make a difference at the same time

Thankyou bBen and the team , keep up the amazing work you are doing
