    Delicious and fun experience!!
We got picked up at the hotel and brought us to the local market for a tour. Afterwards we did the cooking class and enjoyed our diner, which was a lot of food 😋!
Also they provided us with a pdf of the recipes so we can try them again when we are home.

My husband and I really enjoyed our cooking class starting from the trip to the Old Market just across the street from the cooking class place. The cooking class itself was challenging enough to be interesting but not too difficult. Narong, our teacher, was very friendly and helpful as well as being professional and courteous. The Khmer dishes we made tasted even better than what we’d ordered at restaurants previously! We also appreciated the fact that a bottle of wine was included which meant we could cook with wine and then have the rest of the wine with our dinner.

We loved the cooking class! Dy was a fantastic teacher and very patient. Bonus points because everyone could choose what dishes they wanted to do (individually). The recipes and equipment were all very professional and delicious food was made.

Doing this fabulous cooking class the day after going on a food tour was genius, as we then learnt how to cook all the lovely food we'd had the day before! And learning how to shop at the markets properly was fantastic...
Our host and chef and their assistants were absolutely wonderful; friendly, knowledgable, and funny!
Cambodian cuisine is quite special; a little different to it's more familiar neighbour's, with a delicacy and subtleness that is unique to the region, due to some very interesting indigenous ingredients.
The fact that Cambodia is rebuidling it's heritage after losing so much through it's fairly recent troubles, makes it even more important that we support the people in these social enterprises.
I recommend a long stay based in Siem Reap, to really do the culture and yourself a favour.
And to go to the Phare Circus to eat more of Miss Prey's wonderful dishes!

My family and I had fantastic morning! Our guide spoke very good English and it was amazing to see what an extraordinary flower the lotus is. I am not normally an arts and crafts fanatic but I was blown away by how cool the things that we made were. The boat trip was awesome and I got to fly my drone and take some unique pictures of our experience. I would definitely recommend this experience. They have thought of everything.

The best cooking class I've done in Asia - and I've done quite a few! Wonderful guide Sophia who took us around the local market in the late afternoon, which was really bustling. Every time my daughter or I showed interest in something, she would buy some and let us try it. Then we arrived at the beautiful cooking school / kitchen, where we met our master chef Preah. She walked us through all the ingredients, then we started to cook and prepare the most delicious mango and chicken salad, fish amok curry, and sweet sticky rice for dessert. In between courses we learned how to make various yummy cocktails, and they kept flowing - as many as we wanted. This really was an amazing afternoon & evening, and incredible value. 6 stars!!

From start to finish, this class was a complete joy. Prior to booking the experience, our questions were answered by the point of contact, Teng. Teng’s communication was prompt and the scheduling was seamless. Our tuk-tuk driver was accompanied by our host for the day, Mollika, who works with the Reveal Angkor Hotel Siem Reap. Even though she is your host, she makes you feel like you have been friends for life within a few minutes. When we first met her, she was beaming with a huge smile and so excited to share information on the local area and the local market we first visited. She took us through the market, explaining the history, as well as the daily ins and outs of the market. We also learned a great deal about the ingredients we would be cooking with. Following our visit to the market, we headed to the hotel where our cooking class was set up with a beautiful spread of food and our awesome teacher, Chef Chanreah. They kindly allowed us a moment to take it all in, snap some photos, and showed us the quaint garden where some of the ingredients are grown. They provided us with a refreshing glass of water and assembled us in our very own Chef’s hat and apron. Lyha, another kind soul, explained the dishes we were about to prepare and we were off. Chef Chanreah was so patient and kind while showing us all of the proper techniques with which to prepare the dishes. Mollika was there the entire time to help translate and give us more history and information on the food we were preparing. Mollika even told us that the Beef Lok Lak, a traditional Khmer dish, is often prepared by parents for their children as an expression of love for them. Alicia and I looked at each other and jokingly noted that our parents had never cooked it for us. All in all, we prepared Chicken Banana Salad, Beef Lok Lak, Fish Amok, and a Banana Delight dessert. Once we completed the dishes, they sat us down at a beautifully set table and allowed us to enjoy our creations. Upon finishing our four-course meal, we were stuffed and completely satisfied. Just when we thought we were done, Mollika and Lyha presented us with our certificates of completion AND the recipes and ingredients for everything we had made. It was a great touch and a memory we are sure to hold on to. We then left the hotel and made our way back to our accommodations and couldn’t stop talking about the experience the entire way home. The day after our class, Teng followed up again to make sure we had a wonderful time. We most certainly did!

If you like rice wine, you NEED to try this place. We found it by having some at a local restaurant and I knew I needed to find some to take home. We happened to meet the owner and he was amazing too.

Having kids as teenagers is kind of difficult ‘till I had a trip to Siem Reap and met Mr. Pich who did a great job and created lots of memories for my family. Especially, my relationship with family and kids became closer and closer by taking a trip to Siem Reap. BTW, Thanks Mr. Pich and hope to see ya again. After the Covid-19 pandemic.

This experience was beyond our expectations! The tour of the market was amazing, we were introduced to every kind of vegetable and herb, and our tour guide was just amazing! Spoke very good english and knew a lot about the food of the market. After we went to a beautiful place away from the busy streat to cook 3 meals. We were introduced to the chef who taught us a lot of new things. The cooking was amazing, it was so much fun with the 2 ladies that gave the cooking class. After the cooking class we had a little bit of time to eat, relax and enjoy the view over a small pond. We recommend this experience to everyone that is visiting Siem Reap for sure! Thank you so much for everything! Pim & Ellen

Chef speak common of English, then cooking techniques was excellent. I would highly recommend this activity to anyone who looks for a unique experience
