We were unsure but wanted to do something different in between temples. Let me just say we are so so glad we did! Our tuk tuk driver took us there for when it first opened for the day. We asked to do the boat ride which was the best part. The boat driver took us to find some lotus flowers that he picked . We saw multiple types. We then walked around the store and where they make the silk. I would highly recommend this place as a beautiful change of scenery!
I only booked this after hearing about it from another traveller, but it was actually an amazing experience. The boat trip through lotus fields was an especially great experience and I think it's a must do if visiting Siem Reap! The follow up of the various lotus craft activities was fun and very informative. The hosts at all parts of the tour were great. Had a great time here :)
We also made candles. What a great day this turned out to be. Palm weaving not that easy! And I have my own lemongrass candle that I made that fits inside my box. The people here are so wonderful, calm and caring. And the grounds are beautiful. So fragrant
Friendly tuk tuk, mr. Tong and amazing show. Such a beautiful culture. The show has more dance and take about 1 hour. Resturant with buffet, very tasty
I went there for soap-making workshop and I had a great time. Paul, the owner, is highly knowledgeable and seems to love sharing about soap making and about the village where the products are made - Takeo province. The shop in itself is lovely, with lots of natural soaps, mosquitos repellents, virgin coconut oil, handmade scarfs, etc. Really recommend to anyone to have a look at this beautiful place.
I really enjoyed learning the art of soap making. It takes place in a lovely house just outside of Siem Reap. The team their are really friendly and full of knowledge. Would definitely recommend. I can’t wait to start making soap when I get home.
Even though this was our first time doing pottery, we were made aware about each and every possible way to learn atleast 4 items. Session is very well organized and in a small amount of time, under tutelage of arts centre pottery teachers, you can actually build 5-6 pieces. If you are able to come back next the day, roughly 24 hours later, they will give you your pottery pieces. If you have a flight or are continuing onward in your journey, they allow you to pick any items upto 10 USD limit, that you can take from their shop. We had a flight so we picked an item each from their shop. They were super friendly and super cool. Highly recommend this in Siam Reap
Impressive performance, pick up and drop off on time and with good car. Highly recommended for an evening in Siem Reap. You can see and feel the sophistication of this nation.
A wonderful morning spent with our kids enjoying making a few pottery items with the help of fantastic Cambodian people. A number of the skilled assistants are deaf and mute, communicating in sign language. Incredibly friendly and helped the kids make stuff that you actually do want to take home! Highly recommend a couple of hours doing this.
