First we visited a local market where our guide Sorya explained more about coconut, fish and other food there. Afterwards we went to the building for the cooking class and were given a tour in the garden. Sorya explained about the different vegetables and herbes they grow. Finally we made four dishes with excellent and clear instructions. Sorya is a very sweet lady. She even talked some words in Dutch to us. She really likes to learn from the country you come from. I would 100% recommend this class

Had a lovely time at the cooking class with instructor Sopheap. We had a 3 course meal with the option to cook two different starters and two different mains.

Amazing and good detailed cooking class for every foodie.
We had several options for each course (appetizer, main, vegatables and dessert).
Sorya did a really good job in teaching me/us about the spices and the Khmer cousine. I really had a great time and the resulted food tasted really extraordinary.
    10/10 would do it again!

This was such an excellent day. We went out in little motorized canoes onto the lake to see where the lotus flowers grow and the guide made us bouquets from freshly picked flowers. We then saw how the whole process turn the stems to silken thread to cloth and then to beautiful bags and dresses. We had the opportunity to make and decorate wrapping paper, incense sticks and lotus seed bracelets. They are very keen to show off their commitment to sustainability and use of renewable energy. Lovely people.

I took this class 4 years ago and enjoyed it so much, I decided to spend my birthday here this year. What a fantastic gift to myself! We had so much fun! The food is excellent, Prey and Sopheap kept us laughing and learning - engaged in the whole wonderful experience. The steps are simple enough for a beginner, and the flavors complex enough for a seasoned foodie. The kitchen is outdoors - calming and relaxing. I highly recommend. Treat yourself

If you like rice wine, you NEED to try this place. We found it by having some at a local restaurant and I knew I needed to find some to take home. We happened to meet the owner and he was amazing too.

Ron was absolutely great! Not only did we visit the market with him but he also brought us to a farm and a oyster mushroom farm. The whole morning was very instructive and when we arrived to the class the whole team was really nice and food was delicious. We had a vegetarian and one person allergic to shellfish in our party and they were very accommodating, all in all great experience!

It was the most well thought out, interesting and exciting day out from beginning to end. Getting collected from our hotel, warmly welcomed, helping to transplant some seedlings on the farm, going to the local market to get the produce and meeting the kind sellers. Putting on our aprons and hats, preparing the herbs and spices ad instructed, cooking a four course meal fit for royalty and then eating it. Fabulous.

Dee was amazing! She was kind, funny, and a very good teacher! We felt welcomed from the moment we walked in… and we quickly connected over picking herbs, going to the market, and choosing our meals! The chicken curry was one of the best I have ever eaten (and I have eaten many!)! The food, atmosphere and hospitality were outstanding! I highly recommend you take this class on your next visit!

From start to finish, this class was a complete joy. Prior to booking the experience, our questions were answered by the point of contact, Teng. Teng’s communication was prompt and the scheduling was seamless. Our tuk-tuk driver was accompanied by our host for the day, Mollika, who works with the Reveal Angkor Hotel Siem Reap. Even though she is your host, she makes you feel like you have been friends for life within a few minutes. When we first met her, she was beaming with a huge smile and so excited to share information on the local area and the local market we first visited. She took us through the market, explaining the history, as well as the daily ins and outs of the market. We also learned a great deal about the ingredients we would be cooking with. Following our visit to the market, we headed to the hotel where our cooking class was set up with a beautiful spread of food and our awesome teacher, Chef Chanreah. They kindly allowed us a moment to take it all in, snap some photos, and showed us the quaint garden where some of the ingredients are grown. They provided us with a refreshing glass of water and assembled us in our very own Chef’s hat and apron. Lyha, another kind soul, explained the dishes we were about to prepare and we were off. Chef Chanreah was so patient and kind while showing us all of the proper techniques with which to prepare the dishes. Mollika was there the entire time to help translate and give us more history and information on the food we were preparing. Mollika even told us that the Beef Lok Lak, a traditional Khmer dish, is often prepared by parents for their children as an expression of love for them. Alicia and I looked at each other and jokingly noted that our parents had never cooked it for us. All in all, we prepared Chicken Banana Salad, Beef Lok Lak, Fish Amok, and a Banana Delight dessert. Once we completed the dishes, they sat us down at a beautifully set table and allowed us to enjoy our creations. Upon finishing our four-course meal, we were stuffed and completely satisfied. Just when we thought we were done, Mollika and Lyha presented us with our certificates of completion AND the recipes and ingredients for everything we had made. It was a great touch and a memory we are sure to hold on to. We then left the hotel and made our way back to our accommodations and couldn’t stop talking about the experience the entire way home. The day after our class, Teng followed up again to make sure we had a wonderful time. We most certainly did!

The best cooking class I've done in Asia - and I've done quite a few! Wonderful guide Sophia who took us around the local market in the late afternoon, which was really bustling. Every time my daughter or I showed interest in something, she would buy some and let us try it. Then we arrived at the beautiful cooking school / kitchen, where we met our master chef Preah. She walked us through all the ingredients, then we started to cook and prepare the most delicious mango and chicken salad, fish amok curry, and sweet sticky rice for dessert. In between courses we learned how to make various yummy cocktails, and they kept flowing - as many as we wanted. This really was an amazing afternoon & evening, and incredible value. 6 stars!!

Having kids as teenagers is kind of difficult ‘till I had a trip to Siem Reap and met Mr. Pich who did a great job and created lots of memories for my family. Especially, my relationship with family and kids became closer and closer by taking a trip to Siem Reap. BTW, Thanks Mr. Pich and hope to see ya again. After the Covid-19 pandemic.
