Cool arrangement of cars. Was worth it to see. Funny to see in your lifetime. If you're ever in this part of Nebraska, stop and take a look.

Wow! What a great little storehouse of treasure and history. Their collection is well displayed and entertaining. A well stocked display of local history and people. Loved it.

I had not planed on stopping here but we were stuck in Alliance because of a breakdown! My son found these scooters we could rent so we were able to explore the town. this Park & fountain were clean, Green, & a pleasant escape from the HOrrable Motel we were stuck at. Bonus, A local was there with his blue Macaw Parrot which loved on my children & created a lasting memory. he was also able to give us inside info on a place to have lunch. I recommend that one always, talk to the locals!

A free stop, donation requested. Ran by volunteers, which they need.
It’s in a residential area, has lots of small buildings, built by them or donated that looks like an old town. You walk inside and you feel like you are inside back then. They have lots of time period pieces inside-most you can touch and explore.
Sometimes they will have fun events as well.

Beautiful peaceful place in the middle of the sandhills country of Nebraska. Nicely laid out and very nice services are conducted there. Alan Pannel is very gracious and professional in carrying out his duties @ each and every service.

Visiting a small town Midwest gallery I imagined that the gallery would feature the usual traditional western art. I was pretty shocked to see that they had huge modern art display from a Kansas City, MO artist. I came on a closed day but the director and I ran into each other as she was leaving and she opened up the gallery for me and my four legged companion to check out the exhibit. They have a wonderful space downstairs too that looked like an art explosion from their art camp that was going on. It's not a huge gallery space but I really enjoyed the arts exhibits and their cute little sales shop as well. I'll be making stops here on my way through again.

I didn't expect to see a huge Courthouse. It is huge with its six pillars.

The building is beige and cars park near the Courthouse.

There is one monument at the front of the Courthouse. It is a statue. A cowboy is with its saddle.

By the way, this is the Butte-Anaconda National Historic Landmark.

    Worthwhile to see!

This small museum includes items from several wars, donated by western Nebraska families. The displays are unusually personal, with uniforms, weapons, accessories, memorabilia, and documents. One of the displays is about the air base that became the current Alliance airport. There is a room with materials for studying.

It was a boot shop in past life. Now it is a unique "Man Cave". Lots of antiques and unusual items. The most interesting item in the store is the kind gentleman running it. Stop in and look around. Dont leave without talking to him
