- JaricaorKaty, TX143 contributionsThe water fountain is amazing and I recommend the pins Olaf’s ice cream they sell but the best is the Turkish baklava from Hafiz Mustafa with the Turkish tea and seating outside you can see the fountains every 39 minutes as well as the light in the burn KhalifaWritten November 23, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - dkcjrRaleigh, NC68 contributionsDo not skip this when in Dubai. I thought I was going to be underwhelmed coming here, but no way. I was blown away by this place and my kids loved it. Definitely worth coming here and seeing the beauty. The putt putt course was a cool touch as well.Written December 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Michael MIpswich, UK727 contributionsTo start off with parking is a nightmare, drove round for ages and then after a wrong turn had to pay £20 to park.
Once inside its like Blackpool on steroids, very chintzy. But i did enjoy it, very busy and lots of neon and LED.
Lots of different food choices but over priced and small portions, no one was coping well with demand.
It wasn't pleasant looking around the shopping markets as the staff harassed you to buy and became aggressive when you wouldn't buy anything.
There is lots of everything here, food, shopping, shows and a fairground.
Defiantly worth a second visit as there was too much to take in first time round.Written December 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mariska M3 contributionsWent to the Dubai frame with my family and we really enjoyed the experience! We were done within an hour but the views were amazing. We met supervisor Youssef and he took the time to talk to us and take a lot of photos for our memories. - THOMASFROMDAMASCUSSyria4,044 contributionsA trip to Dubai is never complete without a visit to Kite Beach!
We enjoyed a few hours on Kite Beach a few days ago and it was a very relaxing afternoon.
This is one of Dubai’s largest Public Beach’s as it spans over two kilometers. There is a series of six separate beaches alone the length of Kite Beach
In our section they had a small parking area for cars and also a few street-side parking spaces were available.
The beach has a genuinely nice 14 km jogging, biking and walking track, which has markings indicating how far you have walked or jogged.
The water was exceptionally clean as was the white sand.
You must bring your own beach towels and chairs as this is a public beach.
All-in-all it was a very enjoyable time spent on Kite Beach.
The day we were there, no kites were flying, I guess most are flown on the weekends!Written November 26, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - NICHOLAS TDubai, United Arab Emirates10,618 contributionsThis is a lively and attractive part of Dubai.
There are seven kilometres of walkways around the water which are great fur walking, running or biking and lots of options on the water.
The walkways are lined with cafes, restaurants and there is also Dubai Marina Mall which is a well stocked shopping mall.
Well worth a visit.Written November 23, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It was very quiet when I arrived around 1 PM and was even able to get a lounger under an umbrella. The water was warm and salty, but with my swim goggles on I could swim to the ropes and back. There are lifeguards watching and this is open 24 hours with these huge lights for the night time.
There are clean bathrooms with no toilet paper so I had to take off a rating point for that. I don’t see a lot of parking available so come by taxi, or public transportation. I noticed a very wide and clean path to jog or scooter on as well. Today wasn’t a big party day, maybe it’s crazy at night time. I enjoyed then peaceful time and recommend this beach. There are no restaurants right on the beach so bring your own picnic!Written November 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The ride on the traditional wooden boats across Dubai Creek is not only affordable but also offers a unique glimpse into the city’s heritage and culture. The views of the bustling creek, with its mix of old souks and modern buildings, are truly picturesque.
The abra service is well-organized, with frequent departures that ensure minimal waiting time. The simplicity of the ride adds to its authenticity, making it a refreshing break from Dubai’s otherwise modern attractions.
One suggestion for improvement would be to enhance safety measures, such as providing life jackets or clearer boarding instructions, especially for tourists unfamiliar with the process. Additionally, better signage leading to the abra stations could make the experience more seamless for first-time visitors.
Overall, the Bur Dubai Abra is an iconic and memorable way to experience the city’s rich history. It’s perfect for tourists and residents seeking an affordable and charming way to connect with Dubai’s past.Written November 22, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I will add if you’re a male make sure when leaving the beach area to put a top back on I made the mistake of leaving with no top on to walk back to my hotel and was stopped by security to put it back on. They’re strict on laws but that gives you a feeling of security.Written August 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sarah E178 contributionsThis was the first place we visited when we arrived and luckily, as we were staying in the Oaks Ibn Battuta Hotel, it was a mere stones throw away.
At first it looks small and fairly empty but as you walk around you realise it just continues to go on and on with some fantastic shops.
The carrefour is wonderful as expected and it’s a much more sedate and quiet mall compared to some of the others.
I’d highly recommend a visit!Written October 31, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
