Had a few hours before heading to the airport and decided to visit the Miracle Gardens. I was glad I made the effort to visit this place. Beautiful flowers and sculptures covered in flowers. Amazing place especially in a desert area.
If you are ever in Dubai and have an hour or 2, this is a worthwhile visit especially if you like flowers.

Friendly staff, very clean and overall a great experience. Unfortunately we arrived at 19:00 and although we paid for the ultimate experience we didn’t get to see the all the penguins.
Maybe it would be a good idea to be able to choose which experience you would like to do and not be offered just a full option and an option just without the glass boat tour.

    Overall would recommend.

We had booked a couple of the experiences in the aquarium and we were definitely glad we did!

We did the snorkelling at the start of our holidays and we just loved it. Snorkelling in the aquarium was amazing and it was great knowing it was safe and people were on hand. One of our group wasn’t quite as confident in the water but the staff made sure they were comfortable and got the most out of the time.

We then booked the fish tales tour which gave you a behind the scenes look at the aquarium and Orbyll, who took us round was really knowledgeable and great with the group. We have two teen boys so did wonder if they would be bored but they loved it too!

The best experience was at the end of our holidays and we booked the AquaTrek. This was just the best thing we did and was so different to anything we’d done before! Being able to walk along the bottom of the tank was just amazing with all the fish and sea life swimming past us! The helmets were heavy but once you were in the water you didn’t feel the weight. It was really surreal being in the water but your head being dry!😂 We each had a diver with us and they made sure we were ok and pointing out all the things we should look at! They really made the experience magical, so thank you Imantha, Kausik, Viju and Gaya. We got some amazing photos at the end of the walk too.

If you get an opportunity to experience any of these then do!!

I used the Metro from the World Trade Centre to the Marina which is the most efficient and cheapest way to travel there.

The Marina is huge and I covered most of it on foot as I couldn't get on a Dhow cruise as more than 5 passengers were required for a trip.

As well as yachts, there are restaurants, a mall, hotels and apartments along the waterway.

It was one of the highlights of my trip and wasn't very busy as it's quite a distance from the city.

This is a very good beach in Dubai to spend a day with family . It is relatively less crowded compared to some of the other public beaches, there are several kite surfers and people just relaxing. It also has a public library which is great for spending some quality time.

We enjoyed a wonderful sleepover in the “rainforest” at Green Planet. The whole programme is so well organised to be fun and informative for every age. After checking out our tent (set out with mattresses, pillows, blanket, water and fan) we were let loose to roam the biome (along with the lemurs, sloths, rabbits and birds) to do a fun scavenger hunt. Then, we had an excellent BBQ followed by toasting marshmallows around the campfire, followed by an after dark guided tour of the biome and then the chance to hold a bearded dragon and snake. During the night, we were surrounded by the noises of the rainforest which was exciting. In the morning we prepared breakfast for the rainforest animals and delivered it to them before having a lovely breakfast ourselves.

Tourist beach, not dangerous. You can do also a nice walk or rest. As it is free, you can decide to sunbathing and then do a nice walk on the beach. Possibility to do a camel ride. Nice view.

Palm Jumeirah is the grandest of the grand projects in Dubai. It's the largest man made island in the world, and it can be seen from outer space. It took 6 years and 12 billion US dollars to build. It has a monorail running up its spine which ends at the impressive Atlantis Hotel. And, it's not the only man-made island in Dubai. There are several others in various stages of construction. If you want to see it from above, go visit the “View at the Palm”, a 240 meter high viewpoint of the entire island, located on the 52nd floor of the Palm Tower Hotel.
It's definitely a must-see attraction while in Dubai.

Palm Island is a series of artificial islands in the shape of a palm tree. You can see it best from atop the observation tower. A scenic monorail offers near ground level views and is a nice ride.

Great for long walks/runs and bike rides. The Careem bike station is literally around every corner. We spent an evening cycling from Safa park to Meydan, great fun for a group of friends or active family and costs barely anything. One of my favorites in Dubia

The park includes glow garden, dinosaur park and magic park. Glow garden has lit structures placed in a large park so you can enjoy this at the night. The dino park is next to it which has lots of dinosaur structures - kids would love it. Then there is a small magic park which is an indoor establishment full of illusions. Magic park has a separate ticket while glow garden and dino are same. I would suggest to skip magic park as its not really worth it.
Its a long walk in the park so be ready for it. There are stalls for shwarma/refreshments but they are extremely expensive.
There is free parking at the spot and you can find taxis as well.

If you are afraid about the idea of butterflies flying next to you and landing to rest on your body, then don't bother coming to this place.
It is a bit surreal to see some people displaying total disgust / scariness toward the butterflies when walking through the exhibit.

For the others, this place has a lot of butterflies.
Considering the short life span of a butterfly, this is very impressive that this place operates year-round with so many butterflies.

Through the first sections of the exhibit, we weren't so lucky to have butterflies come lay on us, except in some of the special rooms.
The last pavilion was a big party, though. I guess the breeds of butterflies housed in this pavilion are more comfortable with / less scared of humans.

This is a nice activity to walk in and relax, while admiring some very beautiful specimens of butterflies.

We thought the entrance price was worth the visit.
Expect to spend about 1 to 1.5 hours there.
