With a really kind tour guide, Ahmed Saleh. He guided me and my friends around and the glass house and educated us on many things. He gifted us Qurans aswel :)
( only feedback I’d like to give is that it would be nicer if in the cave there would be subtitles cause it’s difficult to hear )Written February 5, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We learnt alot about how the architecture of Dubai came about. You cant help but reflect on the history of Dubai and the heavily silenced slavery of the people that have sacrificed their health and lives in the creating of the Magnificent Dubai we visit today.Written November 25, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RicoRicoDubai, United Arab Emirates3 contributionsAl Shindagha Museum is not a single hall but a group of halls for a comprehensive exhibition with different themes. These exhibitions provide a deep glimpse of Dubai's development and specialities, such as perfume, fishing culture, and more. We booked the free group guidance with Ms. Xinyan, a detailed and customer-oriented guide from the Museum. She led us to have an immersive experience exploring the whole museum from Dubai history to its Ocean culture. We gained a lot of unique insights during the trip and learned a lot of Dubai Culture from Ms. Xinyan. There are great interactive systems which allow us to play and learn in a relaxing and fun way. We had a great time with Xinyan and Mr. Waheed. Will definitely come here again and recommend you all come here to visit.Written February 10, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - schmidtmgSwitzerland1,163 contributionsEtihad Muaeum is off the beaten track. It's very large and almost always empty. There were a total of 6 other visitors during my visit. The museum traces the development of the UAE since independence in the early 1970s, and provides insights into how farsighted and leaders of Dubai and Abu Dhabi envisaged the future of the UAE. It's quite educational, and there are a number of interactive displays explaining the development of the UAE..Written November 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The village offers a captivating glimpse into traditional Emirati life, with beautifully preserved buildings, bustling souks, and authentic cultural experiences. From exploring the historical exhibits to witnessing traditional crafts being practiced, every corner of the village is steeped in history and charm. The waterfront location adds to the ambiance, providing a picturesque backdrop for leisurely strolls along the creek. Whether you're a history enthusiast or simply seeking a break from the hustle and bustle of the city, Dubai Creek Heritage Village offers a delightful journey into the rich tapestry of Emirati culture.Written April 12, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. As you might imagine from the name it’s a wonderfully eclectic canter through the history and culture of the region, with exhibitions on pearls, manuscripts, literature and weaponry.
Perhaps most strikingly, there are also very thoughtful and moving sections on both the Holocaust (some fascinating stories of Muslims helping escaping Jews) and the more recent Abrahamic Accords.

Not a huge museum but interesting and informative, it took us about 45mins. There is a gift shop but we didn't visit.Written September 16, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- jerrold61321 contributionsEspecially for those who remember the old Trucial States stamps -- issued in large quantities in decades past, a visit to the Philately museum in the Fahidi district is well worthwhile.Written December 22, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
