It is great place in middle of al seef historic district. We parked in underground parking. Although it is newly made but made in a way this is antique.
Museum of illusions was good and not time consuming. You dont have to walk enough as well.

I enjoyed the museum and the air conditioning and 2 coffees we had made a welcome break from the outside heat. The lady running the ethiopian coffee area was very informative about things.

Good place, barely anybody in there, so you can have it all to yourself. The exhibit contains some very interesting personal objects of important Emirati women, lots of info about women's role in the UAE. The second floor has walls filled with poems (amazing!). The place has great energy. The lady at the entrance is also a great guide and she can answer many questions.

This place was recommended to me by the concierge at the hotel that I stayed. The name is actually a bit misleading since this is not a museum but a store for souvenirs and art in a warehouse style building. I was interested to purchase an Arabian Lamp that I saw during a previous visit to Dubai.
This establishment had plenty of options available and Basheer was very helpful and patient to review all the different options with me.
The building is located in an industrial estate and only the main offices are air conditioned. The products seem to be of very good quality. I am not certain if it is very good value in comparison to more touristic locations but the wide range is certainly a plus. I would also recommend negotiating over the price

One of the oldest Islamic currency of Al Madina Munawara on this world. This coin is very precious especially for Muslims and it is very rare in this world. This coin is more than 1400 year old and this coin was used for the trade and buying or selling of products during time of Sahaba Karam..This unique coin of Madina was used in the Khalafat of Hazarat Abu Bakar saddique.

Kalma Mubrik is written clearly on one side of coin along with names of Khulafa-e- Rashideen in Arabic language. On other side of coin there is picture of Al Masjid-e- Nabwi and word “Madina” in embossed form.

Features and Benefits of this coin:

    1) More than 1400 years old coin

    2) This coin was used as currency during the earliest stage of arrival of Islam. It was used during the time of Khulafa-e-Rashideen.

    3) Master piece of ancient Islamic art and calligraphy.

    4) This coin is lucky coin containing blessings and barakat of Allah which I really feel always whenever it remains with me.

    5) One of the most precious and very rare coin on this world.

    6) This coin belongs to Holy land of Madina

    7) Only Muslims can realize the importance and worth of this coin.

I have a rare islamic coin which is more than 1450 years old. You can clearly see "13 Hijri" word on coin. There is Kalma on it and also 4 Khulfas Names. I Want to sale it, but only people who can pay sufficient amount for this precious thing

At first I wasn't very keen on visiting the museum. But once I was in I was a different world. We learned a lot about the falcons.

I was a bit apprehensive about this one since most of my friends had no idea what it was all about but I am glad I went for it. A very different experience altogether, definitely worth a visit I would say.

The former house of one of Dubai’s most popular poets of classical Arabic poetry, Al Oqaili symbolizes the life of one colorful dignitary. It is amazing how well the house had been restored since the 1300’s, also it is very well curated and maintained. The furniture is traditional antique that would reflect the kind of furniture used during the time of the poet’s life. Likewise, some of his verses are beautifully decorated in various parts of the house. If you have time, this is one amazing museum to visit.

Dubai Municipality Museum is a small and quaint museum located in the Old Baladiya Road and Market. It exhibits artifacts, antiques and documents that are reminiscent of the political planning of the city. City maps of 1900 and the 1960s are showcased as well as the various official government stamps that had been used by the local government over time. The museum itself is architecturally attractive with its long balcony that looks out into the old city. If you have the time, this is a nice place to visit – especially when in the area of the Old Baladiya Road and Market.

Free museum about camels in Dubai. Interesting to learn how they train and race camels, and enjoyed discovering the great importance of camels in this part of the world.

The location is great..right next to the diera marina with other museums near by.. and its free.. so what can go wrong, and for a keen traveller it should be a great retreat. But unfortunately i went during afternoon time and was totally disappointed. The place was officially open, but desserted and couple of staff where moving thing around. Asked us to come back later in the evening. May be it should be advertised as closed till 4pm. So hard to give a fair review, but for those planning to go, go in the evening.

The Old Weapons Museum in Bar Dubai is part of a collection of three museums, which have a single entry. The museum has a good collection of swords, rifles and other weapons used by people of the region in older times.

That said, there is not much in this museum that one has not seen before. One need not take time out separately to visit this place, as the Saruq al Hadid museum and Sheikh Saeed al Maktoum house are better attractions nearby.
