It is great place in middle of al seef historic district. We parked in underground parking. Although it is newly made but made in a way this is antique.
Museum of illusions was good and not time consuming. You dont have to walk enough as well.

Very lavish building and museum with very fancy interactive exhibits and audio/video technology.

We found it a bit underwhelming and a bit repetitive however, as it focuses on the formation of UAE and all the exhibits seem to go over the same material, of how the Emirati tribes came together.

We found the Dubai Creek Museum at the Al Shindagha museum more interesting for providing insight into Dubai over the centuries and how ordinary people lived in those times, and the stages of Dubai's development

The access fee is small and you get to visit two places, the perfumes show room and the creek's history room, overall it's a nice experience and good information.

Wow impressively done - they took a bunch of crappy industrial buildings and made them a stylish gallery park. There are some good cafes too - we had lunch at moon something a veggie place. There are also clothes and shoe shops and an amazing classic car showroom and workshop. Go spend 2-3 hours there, the gallery owners were very friendly too. There is a theatre and cinema too - which we didnt check out.

I hope whoever runs it doesn’t let the global mega brands move in and ruin it.

Singapore has nothing like it - i wish it did.

The Children's City is a fun place for kids & located within the Creek Park close to the Dolphanarium. We had 2 kids with us who really enjoyed at this place.

We bought a ticket to visit all four of the ‘Houses’ that are currently open. We Bly had time to visit 2 though as each of these places are totally fascinating. The staff/guides were helpful and well informed. The museum information displays are impressive - well presented and easy to use. We found the Perfume House particular interesting. Well worth a visit and given the chance we’d go back to visit the other 2 houses. We were told that the site is due to expand to include many more houses.

I enjoyed the museum and the air conditioning and 2 coffees we had made a welcome break from the outside heat. The lady running the ethiopian coffee area was very informative about things.

The house is very attractive and it has been beatifully restored.
The architecture is very beautiful and there were particularly beautiful wooden doors and windows.

Good place, barely anybody in there, so you can have it all to yourself. The exhibit contains some very interesting personal objects of important Emirati women, lots of info about women's role in the UAE. The second floor has walls filled with poems (amazing!). The place has great energy. The lady at the entrance is also a great guide and she can answer many questions.

This place was recommended to me by the concierge at the hotel that I stayed. The name is actually a bit misleading since this is not a museum but a store for souvenirs and art in a warehouse style building. I was interested to purchase an Arabian Lamp that I saw during a previous visit to Dubai.
This establishment had plenty of options available and Basheer was very helpful and patient to review all the different options with me.
The building is located in an industrial estate and only the main offices are air conditioned. The products seem to be of very good quality. I am not certain if it is very good value in comparison to more touristic locations but the wide range is certainly a plus. I would also recommend negotiating over the price

We happened upon this art museum when planning our route for our visit to Dubai. It's a terrific modern art museum with a fun collection of works. The art installations are quirky and entertaining. Overall a great experience. They have a newly opened restaurant - but unfortunately we had already eaten. The gift shop has locally created items for sale. The museum is also home to several short(fish) films with historical footage about the development of Dubai. We watched several of them from comfy sofas and learned a lot about the city and UAE. Confusing but reasonable walk to nearby metro station (green line).

We’ve visited the place to observe the sun through the telescope and watch Back to the Moon film. It was great, I’ve never observed sun like this before. As there were almost no people (pandemic), the lady prepared the telescope for us and we could choose which film to watch (normally they’ve got schedules seances but since there was no one there, the lady prepared the tent-like room with the dome-roof, which serves as the cinema, for us).

We haven’t checked the VR, AR and simulation experiences but I guess this would also be interesting for both kids and adults (they even got the Star Wars AR experience with the real Luke Skywalker’s lightsaber).

The observatory is located in the Mushrif Park so you can have a nice walk there (but beware - there’s a lot of sand there!).

At the observatory there’s a lot of lazy cats :)

And yes - you can take a photo of sun through the telescope!
