What travelers are saying
- Jen LDubai, United Arab Emirates4 contributionsThis neighbourhood is a fascinating glimpse into Dubai's storied past. It's charming, educational and reminds us that Dubai does indeed have a rich cultural heritage. We stopped for lunch at the Arabian Teahouse - fabulous - and afternoon tea at XVA Hotel which is formerly a family home that dates back hundred years. Don't miss Al Fahidi - it is a definite highlight.Written May 31, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- NICHOLAS TDubai, United Arab Emirates5,247 contributionsThis is a busy district in Dubai, between Sheikh Zayed Road and Jumeirah.
There are lots of interesting shops and restaurants - all offering much lower prices than elsewhere in Dubai.
A fun district.Written November 19, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Manish KDubai, United Arab Emirates3,968 contributionsJumeirah is a large coastal district in Dubai, which is located on both sides of the Jumeirah Street, a road which runs parallel to the coastline. The road is a hip and happening place, dotted with restaurants, fast food joints, art galleries and the like.
Loved by locals and tourists alike, the weekends, in particular, see large numbers of people visit the beaches along this area to indulge in games, jetskiing, kitesurfing etc. It's not exactly the most wallet friendly destination in Dubai, but gives a good feel of the modern side of this city. Adding to the beauty of the place are the art murals that have recently come up on buildings on both sides of the Street, which depict traditional life and modernity in the UAE.Written March 11, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Atyaf ا7 contributionsVery nice venue and view with the nice restaurant during winter look like in old village on the waterfront

(If you plan to visit; don't rely on Google Maps; somehow it gets very mixed up). Placed in Dubai Land and with sustainability at heart and mind. Loads of activities (tennis, basket ball, soccer courts, equestrian club, cycle track, running track, swimming, gym). 11 domes placed inside growing vegetables. No cars allowed aside from parking areas. Transport by walking or buggies available to residents. Concierge service available for guests. Restaurants and grocery shop. Tailor, hairdresser, pharmacy, dog park. Great place. Upcoming hotel and IB school with focus on sustainability (eventually KG-12). Let's have more of these initiatives.Written April 22, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Manish KDubai, United Arab Emirates3,968 contributionsInternational City has been built by developers Nakheel to cater to the large number of expatriates in Dubai. The neighborhood has a large number of apartments, but facilities for leisure are rather less. There are no parks here. The area has Dragon Mart and Dragon Mart 2 malls at its entrance, of which the latter has a multiplex.
International City used to have a not so good reputation earlier, but is not the way it is portrayed either. A large number of people live here and have businesses here. One can see a number of restaurants offering Chinese, Indian, Thai and Italian food here. It's not a tourist attraction, however.Written February 14, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
