What travelers are saying
- Abdul R4 contributionsOur family decided to explore Lahore and it's surroundings so we needed a best tour guide. We decided to hire the services of Mr. Maqbool. He organized each and everything in a very good manner. We spent 5 days with him, we visited Nankana, Hiram Minar, Kartarpur, Harappa , Lahore & Wagah border. We treated as a vip guest everywhere. Strongly recommended!Written January 15, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Iolanda Guerra e AndradeLisbon, Portugal1,844 contributionsThis mosque is said to encapsulate the history of the evolution of mosques over a period of a thousand years. It is one of the rarest imposing Aurangzeb constructions and one of the biggest mosques in the world, once it is said to accommodate around 100 000 thousand people. I was taken aback by its monumental door, the huge square patio and naturally the beauty of its prayer rooms. The decorative elements are worth being noted, but mostly the overall atmosphere.Written January 12, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Saamree88 contributionsExcellent place to visit, the place is huge with extraordinary history behind each building inside, prepare to hire a guide to explain things to you better otherwise it’s hard to explore and understand it yourself, remember to take lots of pictures of sheesh mahal….. amazing architecture made by Mughals,Written March 12, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Christine PItaly2 contributionsWe were accompanied by Maqbool. He picked us up with a nice clean car, him and the driver were both nice and polite.
Maqbool was very well knowledgeable about the history of Lahore which was exactly what we needed. He explained everything so well that it made you understand the background and philosophy of each place that we visited.
You can see that he has kept good relationships with his local connections that it made him organised the full day trip in order.
He made sure we has the best seat at the Wahga border which was a really unforgettable moment for us.
Lahore is a gem that you must visit, and Maqbool and his team are the best to accommodate it. Keep up the good work! Thank you again Maqbool and Iqbal! 🙏🙂Written March 6, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The beauty of its decorative elements, despite being in need of restoration, are worth noting. They range from kash kari, tazakari, inscriptions, geometrical patterns and floral designs, to name just a few. We were happy to see that one of its minarets was being partly restored. Such an important mosque deserves to be highlighted ... and restoration is just one step to achieve that.Written January 9, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SOQ2010Massachusetts2,003 contributionsLahore national monument where Pakistan Resolution was passed in 1940. 82 years on Imran Khan chose this site for historic rally on 4/21/22 for freedom from foreign interference. Huge place where huge crowds could fit in.Written April 22, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- spc354Clarks Summit, PA462 contributionsA lady research officer of the museum was on hand setting up for a VIP delegation, but made time to explain the various nuances of the Indus Valley Civilization. We talked about the dice found at various sites as well as indications of the existence of a board-game similar to chess.Written June 7, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Iolanda Guerra e AndradeLisbon, Portugal1,844 contributionsThe tomb of Jahangir dating back to 1637 is part of an ensemble located in a huge Persian-like garden. It is richly decirated with inlaid carved marble. Clearly influenced by the Safavid-style architecture from Persia. The burial chamber is outstandingly beautiful.Written January 13, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

Loads of spaces for running, walking, cycling and all kinds of outdoor activities. Has multiple parks, library, cricket ground, botanical garden and loads of green spaces. The parks are really well maintained and are a sight almost throughout the year.Written September 25, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - FeenixwestFort Collins, CO1,477 contributionsThis garden unfolds as one walks in next to a reflecting pond going from the Queen’s garden to the Royal one and down below the commoners’. The most magnificent is the Royal one with a marble tablet for a running waterfall when it’s working, a central place for Emperor Shah Jahan himself and places of musicians to play with their songs sliding over the surface of the reflecting pond on a warm summer’s evening. On the UNESCO World Heritage Site and built in 1641, it has a long history. Note the picture of our self-appointed guide who has some limited information to share but tends to be somewhat repetitive. Now Shalimar Gardens is rather neglected but worth seeing and walking anyway as one dreams of a time when it was in its fully glory.Written December 5, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It could do with further refurbishing, because it does have amazingly beautiful frescoes on its walls that should be highlighted.Written January 9, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
