There are plenty of seating areas along the way as well as numerous cafes. Some lovely fountains and a huge stature dedicated to Bulgaria’s war heroes in the centre of the park. Of all the churches we visited in our tour of Bulgaria, this had the most impact on us even though it does not have the size and scale of some in Sofia. Such a different climate condition at that small area. Like you came to dessert. The butterflies fly around you and you are free to photograph them. The owner explains the other exotic animals he keeps - a real enthusiast. The wine tasting was a really enjoyable experience and both Stefan and his Mum were delightful and really happy to answer any questions we had!
